I don't agree with some of his actions, but at the end of the day how's he any different from, almost, everyone else in the sport right now? I mean, I think it'd be hard to find someone who did it on there own anymore. They've all basically grew up at the track and got family somewhere close by.

I’m reminded of another pair of drivers who would NOT be racing in the Cup Series if it weren’t for Pop Pop! The day Kevin Harvick called these two young punks out for what they truly are was the first time I believed Harvick was the right person to take over Dale Sr’s car and team!

Amen Todd, I hope Jones takes him out and it's as Blatantly obvious as that was. They both moved each twice by lightly giving each other a little tap, perfectly respectable and racing moves. Gibbs then rearends him so hard it smashef his front end in. B.S. Kid is a punk! I hope grampy is proud of him! Could have had two cars in the finale next week. Only can hope Jones or Mayer or somebody else he has hit this year gets him back.

@@AEMoreira81 u know Kyle has the same opportunity to screw with JGR as well. And after the way he ran at Martinsville with the horrible car they gave him(which I'm sure he didn't try very hard to improve) it wouldn't surprise me at all. They really have been a lame duck team especially since they were eliminated from playoffs. I'm not a a Kyle Busch fan, but he deserved better and more respect from Joe Gibbs after all he's done with him. Joe Gibbs to me is just as shameful as Ty. Absolutely no class. You wouldn't be old enough to see all the steps we took in the wrong direction or know how to fix them if you did. It's a shame inexperienced voters are allowed to be brainwashed by academia and then told to vote. The age used to be 21, they lowered it to allow less experienced and dumber people to vote. They should have raised it, not lowered it. God bless.

@@hyun1141 But to answer your question, I'm 54. Anyone over 40 will tell you their views of life are dramatically different than what they thought life was like in their 20's and 30's. But here are more "dumb" ideas they won't discuss in school you've never heard of. Along with raising the voting age I'd limit terms to 1 year and require a vote every year. No more 4 year or 6 year terms. You either keep your word and represent your delegates (not a party!) or they can vote you out the next year. We'd vote the first of November every year and the term would be from Jan. 1 to Dec. 31st of the following year. In addition law makers would only be allowed to make the equivalent of the average income of their state. Then once they are voted out of office the tax payer income stops. No more career politicians.

If Ty would have used just a wee bit more brains, there would have been two JGR cars in the final four. With one selfish, stupid, classless, unapologetic move, he cut that to one JGR car. He didn’t just screw over his teammate, he screwed over Jones’ entire team and the entire JGR organization. I don’t understand why this isn’t being talked about more. I hope that Brandon Jones realizes that this is his chance to gain a LOT of fans. He has a license to do Gibbs dirty next week. Like, wreck Ty in stage one dirty. Not only will no one blame him, they’ll celebrate him for it. Actually, every xfinity driver has that chance. Gibbs is unfortunately that little dwarf whose parents never taught him respect. And now nothing short of having to have his jaw wired shut is gonna help him. Giving him a concussion would actually be helping him at this point. But, whatever happens, you can’t let him win next week. Can’t have it.

Its ironic to see so many people want Jones to intentionally retaliate and wreck Ty Gibbs. Yet they were all crying for charges to be pressed ffs when Bubba did it 🤔

@trevor4533 2 жыл бұрын
@@mlwilliam213 It's not that it would be similar. If anything it would be worse, since it would be premeditated on Jones' part. The point that I'm making, is so many people want to see Jones deliberately wreck Gibbs at Phoenix, yet they were all calling for Bubba to be removed, fined, etc when he deliberately wrecked Kyle. You can't support one, but shame the other.
@mlwilliam213
@mlwilliam213 2 жыл бұрын
@@trevor4533 deliberately wrecking someone and hooking them into the wall are two different things. I don’t think people want to see Gibbs get killed, just taught a lesson. Also, Jones would be retaliating for being taken out of the championship by a teammate. Bubba was retaliating because he got ran a little high and drove himself into the wall because he “don’t lift.” I personally thought it was questionable to suspend Bubba. I don’t think it would have happened if it wasn’t for NASCAR and they’re poorly designed car. But, now Bubba served his suspension and it’s time to forget about it and move forward. There are a lot of people acting like what Bubba did should get him a lifetime ban or something, which is insane. The hatred for Gibbs I think is because he just keeps doing the same things and there’s no repercussions because his family are pussies. What Gibbs did swerving into a car on pit road was worse than what Bubba did. He should have been suspended for multiple races just for that.
@trevor4533
@trevor4533 2 жыл бұрын
@@mlwilliam213 I mean, we haven't even got to Next Saturday yet. We both have zero idea whether Jones will hook Gibbs into the wall or not. Or possibly even worse. Which is exactly my point, we reaaaaaaaaaaaalllllllllyyyyyyyyyy shouldn't be advocating for drivers retaliating in race cars at 150+mph, regardless of circumstances. PERIOD. Yes, Gibbs should have been suspended for the pit road shit show. Gragson should have been suspended for having a hissy fit at Mid-Ohio wrecking half the field as well. NASCAR needs to get their shit together, when it comes to being consistent with penalties.

He's an talented driver there's no doubt there. However, he needs to calm down and learn when to get someone back on the track and when not to. Otherwise sooner or later, someone will get him the same way. He's just not emotionally ready to be in the Cup Series yet or mentally for that matter. He needs another year or 2 at the Xfinity Series first to mature. Unfortunately if the rumors about him and the 18 car are true, that's not going to happen in an ideal situation. Keep in mind, until Joe officially announced it, it's technically an rumor. That said, I don't doubt that it could be true but again we need confirmation first.

I think it's also fair to mention, but Monster & Menards dump a huge amount of money into the sport and sponsor multiple levels of drivers, cars, and teams, and series. ( others include: Bass Pro, Camping World, etc) What Ty Gibbs did and then did not say afterwards could also have significant behind the scenes contractual implications and/or motive. If Gibbs (who basically is and has been the number one guy at Toyota) & the Menard family (Menard's owners - Who also lost their only somewhat hometown race at Road America) ever have to collaborate on contracts in the near future, this could be a main line item needing to be addressed. Good to see Brandon Jones refrain from reacting violently. Depending on the situation and media attention, it had potential to damaged his reputation long-term. He gets to be the bigger man and gets to dish out payback when he chooses and no one will bat an eye.
