DID SYSTEM: Dissociative identity disorder (DID), previously known as multiple personality disorder (MPD), is a mental disorder characterized by the maintenance of at least two distinct and relatively enduring personality states. The disorder is accompanied by memory gaps beyond what would be explained by ordinary forgetfulness. FICTIVE: Fictional introjects, also called fictives, are alters that are based off of fictional people or characters. While not as common as other types of alters, fictives are just as important. (got that from a friend who has DID)

As someone who knows a bit more about DID/OSDD This person said they were a fictive [AKA an alter split off of a fictional source, in this case being Dream from the DSMP, not the content creator Dream.] They can't help the fact that they split that alter, they can't help the fact it's from that source, they basically have no choice whether something happens or not. As absurd as it sounds, they're still valid. You can't claim whether someone has OSDD/DID by just looking at 1 fictive or alter. You can't tell if they have OSDD/DID by their appearance, how they act or what they say. It's also very harmful to claim that the person doesn't have DID/OSDD, as it both invalidates actual people with DID/OSDD and it hurts the majority of the community. Yes, although they seem suspicious and strange they can be a real system. It doesn't do any good to tell someone they're fake for having something you don't like. It's like telling a child they're stupid for crying after they fell. ALSO!! it is common for systems to have alters who are a different age, different species, different gender, etc. Just because they're a little bit different doesn't mean that they're not valid.

So just to explain what a fictive is: A fictive is an introject/alter of a person that are based off of fictional people or characters. This means that the person/alter believes they are the character. This is often from a result of having a particular attachment or "relation" to the character. This is often seen in DID (dissociative identity disorder) or Delusional Psychosis. It's not "pretending" to be the character, it's actually and wholeheartedly believing you *are* that character. In the case of the tiktoker who was a "c!dream" fictive, this means that the person believes that they are the character that Dream portrays on his SMP (since it is a roleplay server). The "c!" stands for "character", as in "Character!Dream" whilst some use "CC!Dream" to describe "ContentCreator!Dream". The second question for this tiktoker asks if they will manipulate them. This is because in Dream's minecraft server, his character is very evil, malicious and manipulative. I hope this helps anyone who was confused! :D

I have OCD, and while I've never scrubbed my hands raw from needing them clean, I can safely say OCD is not a blessing constantly needing to have things even is awful, and it's worse because I have depression and don't have the energy to keep things even, I've never had any terrible experience because of my OCD but it's not something that keeps your house clean, it's meticulous anxiety over small things that anyone else would look at and think "not bad" or "I can finish tomorrow", it brings constant dissatisfaction and uneven or out of place items can upset someone with OCD way more than it should, and while everyone has different symptoms for OCD, nobody with OCD sits on their ass thinking it's a blessing

as someone who actually has tourettes, you can easily see when someones faking it. they usually do the same tics over and over again, not having different tics for a certain moment. they stop doing whatever theyre doing and tic, take a moment and continue what theyre doing. i personally have different tics at the same time, so that would mean i have different vocal tics or motor tics after each other, and i just tic through whatever im doing, without stopping. also fakers are usually obsessed with their tics, trying to make them as small and cutesy. real tics arent cute and small, theyre usually annoying and very loud.

I'm begging likE even seeing this as a singlet (someone who doesn't have DID) hurts. like I can list some term if you want like god have mercy DID- A disorder caused throughout the ages of 3-11 as a result of major trauma during the development cycles, where the mind splits into multiple alternate people to protect the core. System- A group of people within a single body, due to DID (dissociative identity disorder) Endogenic system- a system that was not caused by trauma, which cannot happen. Endogenic systems do not exist. Traumagenic system- A system formed by trauma. The only way a system can form. Alter- A person in a system. Front- when a system disassociates, this means a new alter is going to front, which means they have control of the body. Host- the alter that fronts the most. Sometimes is also the core. Core- The original "person", usually only exists in systems formed from ages 7-11. Co-host- when an alter fronts, this can be 2 alters at the same time. The second alter cannot control the body or speech, however, it does give the fronting alter information. Little- an alter that is very young, within the ages of 4-9. Traumaholders- the alters that have traumatic memories. Caregiver- An alter that cares for other alters, usually littles of traumaholders. Protector- an alter that fronts when something potentially dangerous is happening, that tries to protect the system from the harm. Persecutor- an alter that tries to envoke revenge for the system. Gatekeeper- an alter that controls who fronts. That's all I can remember rn but I might add to this

OCD is Obsessive-compulsive disorder, meaning that you will have obsessions that will lead you to compulsively doing things, and things will bother you in a unmanageable way that other people can live with, and while it is common for people with OCD to organize things, their are other type, like reactions to thoughts they consider bad, or some people who suffer with it worse will react to colors, or in superstitious ways. I believe I also have OCD, even thou it is not diagnosed officially as I do have obsessions and compulsions, like I will sometimes react to thoughts that I consider bad by pulling my ear until they turn red, or how it feels like my brain caches on fire when I see something discolored in a certain way, such as a brick on a wall, or when somebody stops the a microwave but they don't clear the time.

I went looking up what fictive means, and this is what urban dictionary said "An alternate personality, as part of dissociative identity disorder or similar dissociative disorders, who takes the form of a fictional character. Some fictives may still act as they did in their source material, while some might just take on an identity based on their source material." So pretty much Fictive is when you have a personality disorder or something like it, where one of the personalities may believe they are the financial character or have the same personality as said character.

My mom has OCD, she has been able to control it recently but when she was younger she couldn't even walk past a tiny dust spot without vigorously cleaning it, obviously she has delt with worse in her lifetime other than cleaning, I just don't want to get into it since it is a sensitive and not very kid friendly subject. I was really really hoping it wouldn't come up in this video since it feels so disrespectful, but please, I don't care if it is a joke, these disorders are nothing to make fun of.

I love how they say insincere crap like, “I hate having (dotw); it is absolute hell, you don’t want to have this…” and so on. Sweetie, you don’t hate it, it’s not hell, and you love pretending to have it.

It just really makes it harder for the people who actually have these disorders. I know people who actually have some serious mental disorders and they shouldn't have to be confused for people wanting attention. Next time you see someone faking mental disorders then call them out and say it's making it harder for others.

I have OCD and I can't stand when multiple things touching me such as hair, certian clothes, my body being wet, I can't stand being caressed, and so much more. It is very annoying and it also annoys other because how picky I am. I wish I didn't have OCD

On the “OCD is a blessing” I myself don’t have OCD but I have two friends that have it one of them had it where she would collect random things like stones and the other friend he would open and close doors, drawers and turn on and off lights. Neither are “blessings” and after hearing the comment in the video.. for me it just makes me ever more sure on how fu€ked up that tiktok was.

Note: it’s so frustrating when ppl wants u to explain how are u mentally unstable and then you got idiots who for some fame they be ready to redefine what’s it mean to have ocd bruh :0

Most people who actually have anxiety disorders don't use widespread fidget toys such as pop-its, nobody in my family uses them yet almost 40% of people on my mothers side of the family have had some form of anxiety inherited, this includes the younger ones who are 10-17.

So, to explain the fictive ones with my limited research, a fictive is an alter (DID) that is inspired by a fictional character, usually also acting like how the person sees the character. A minor with a strong love or like or bond with a character going through stress might get an alter, or fictive, based off of said character. That's all I know, and don't quote me on all of this because I do not have DID myself.
