To be fair, one-shot is a pretty good counterplay to scripts. One does not simply dodge abilities when they're dead.

Fyi if you guys aren't aware, watch how vayne moves in a circle. Scripts function by inputting hundreds of micro clicks so if you see a player do a perfectly smooth spin in a circle, there is a very high likely hood that they are scripting. You don't even have to see them dodge shit, just watch how they physically move. No player can input the amount of clicks required to smoothly rotate a character the way a script can.

@@truthspeaker6689 You don't understand, if you hold right mouse click down your character will follow your mouse in a very choppy motion. It looks like its only inputting like maybe 3 or 4 clicks a second. A script inputs HUNDREDS of clicks per second. This results in a turn pattern that is buttery smooth.

​@@cletusfetusgaming cheats were always a very rare occurrence in the game. and when they did appear or happen, they got hotfixed, and every cheater was found and banned instantly. Unfortunately, riot has been a piece of garbage to address any type of problem for the last 3 years, so many of these scripters are cheaters who have been doing this for a long time now.

Scripts have been a problem for over a decade. They're next to impossible to catch because all they do is display information that the game client already has. It's also pretty hard to differentiate between an interrupt command from a physical keyboard and one made by a program, so you can't really detect the automatic dodges either, because they're essentially just keyboard commands being sent in response to a pixel change.(Things like WoW fishing bot work the same way.)

How and why are good ways to spot cheats. It's fairly obvious in a game like league but even in CSGO, it's pretty obvious when you look at why or how something happens rather than it just happening and whether that's 'possible'.

I feel like the terminology has to change. Scripting is just not the same as cheats. I get that there are scripts running together to make all this. HOWEVER scripts in general are thought of as things like adjusting your aim curve. Before games like Call of Duty and Counter Strike had the option to change to dynamic or linear, your mouse default put in exactly what it seen. Scripts were used to remove the harsh curve from moving your mouse from one end of the pad to the next. Scripts are usually single lines or short inputs that happen during other inputs. Cheats do things automatically. Cheats auto move a character. Cheats auto aims the crosshair. Cheats allow you to see through walls. Cheats allow you to see through fog of war. A script is what a modern "Gaming" mouse is using to get smoother feedback. You are minimizing your call to action HEAVILY. There are massive debates over scripts in Counter Strike and Overwatch for example. Some people don't even perceive 3rd party software like the Chronus as "cheating" so this is implying to a heavy audience this is not in fact cheating it's something else. If you seriously want it to stop call it what it is. This is the equivalent of being robbed at gun point and calling the cops to say "Yeah this guy in the park looks real suspicious." You just won't get the reaction you're looking for.

This is mostly down to game specific terminology, in league scripting is cheating and most people familar with the game will understand it as such, why that terminology formed im not actually aware off but its still fairly clear to most people, nature of it not being an fps i suppose

She’s obviously not scripting. All her movements are natural and just a few outplays. Tibbers was placed horrible and Karma & U sck dick on lane, that doesn’t mean she’s scripting Bro. Stop making excuses .. She run in to so many things which weren’t possible if she was scripting.
