As the husband mentioned in the very first story here (the victim's, not M's husband), I can testify that M is a terrifying force in both of our lives. It's been one of the more difficult aspects of our human walk, especially as practicing Christians, when trying to understand how to deal with the entire situation. You narrated it so well, and definitely exemplified the scariness of what we have both faced. Very well done! Thank you for telling our story.

She's still got quite a lot of mental problems and is unable to work because of disabilities but she got a pet dog which finally gave her something to devote all that extra attention to. We ourselves moved recently so I don't think we're going to run into her again after this. We are also having a baby girl within the next 24-48 hours so life is good now :D

Wow, I didn’t think you’d read my story (2nd story)! Thank you! We found a way to lock the back door, but my cats really hate the fact that they can’t open it. They’re usually pawing at the door now and the sounds of them pawing at it echo through the house. But, I’d rather be woken up by the back door making sounds from the cats than have it be completely unsecured for easy home invasions

33:50 "Her dogs were too old to be placed with anyone so they were put down." That's the wrong mentality to have. Older pets can still thrive and flourish in new homes and maybe they would have lived longer in a smoke--free home with caring owners. It's too bad that some people still do this. Old dogs need love, too! ❤️

Good points but there are many rescues today which are foster-based, not a shelter environment. There are at least two rescues like this where I live that are senior only rescues. But I know not every city and town has these... Wish they did! 🐶❤️🌟

Krissie sweet sentiments but real talk I'm not trying to invest financially or emotionally in anything I know I won't have for long or won't perform in an atypical way. Literally not roaming around seeking heartache. Sweet sentiment old dogs needs love too tis true. But real talk how many of them have you adopted with your obvious passion and empathy for em?
@squeakybeak78325 жыл бұрын
Real talk five. I can walk the walk. 🐕 no one said that you must "invest in heartache". Those who can only emotionally deal with adopting younger animals should - they are plenty who are in desperate need of loving home. But if everyone thought that way, this world would be a much more sad place. All of my older adopted animals have 1. Outlived the years everyone thought they had left. 2. Had tons of fun and played like puppies. 3. Gave us amazing priceless memories in return. Currently we have a dog that was adopted from the shelter as an "unadoptable senior." He's now been with us for 10 years and gives me a hard time if I don't walk him at the same time every morning. Four months ago, my point of making this comment was to say that we shouldn't have control of how long we think animals should live. I'm glad you're you but I'm also glad that not everyone thinks like you. Peace! ❤️👍🐕
@megschmeedafamc5 жыл бұрын
Krissie, I agree with you 100%. I adopted a senior cat in 2012 and she's still going strong. I was browsing the website of one of the local shelters here and I saw that a 12 year old Yorkie mix had been adopted. Made my heart melt. We also have a 2 year old dog but I would get a senior animal again for sure! All pets deserve the best! 💕🐱🐢 🐕 🐍 💕

I loved your stories as always. :) BUt the story about the cat enraged me. If someone trapped one of my cats, not only would I go right over there and save him but I would knock the crap out of that woman, sick or not. NO ONE messes with my babies and if they do, well, let's just say it would not be pretty. Illness is no excuse for being evil. Sadly, many people I know and love have died from cancer but not one of them became evil because of it. She was evil to begin with apparently. Also, a dog is never too old to be adopted. Especially now with the internet. My solace lies with the fact that she is burning in Hell for being an evil person. Karma is a bitch and I totally believe you reap what you sow. Okay sorry, rant over. lol I am just an animal lover and I get mad over animal abuse. :) Thanks for all your hard work on your stories. :)

I actually get lost when they describe it. “When you enter the front door, there are stairs that lead upstairs.” Ok, I got that part. “Once you enter there’s the kitchen and off that is the living room.” Wait, I thought there were stairs? “Off the living room is a balcony.” Ok. So the house must be on stilts. Got it. “Once upstairs there are five bedrooms on the left, two of which connect to each other.” ?? “At the end of that hallway are another set of stairs that lead to the basement where the light has never worked and there’s no door going down the basement stairs so I can see into the basement from my room.” But you said your room was on the left (trying to draw this in my mind). “There’s an extra living room on the right side of the hallway that has never been opened and we don’t know what’s in there.” “My room leads to the attic with the only bathroom in the house.” Who built this damn house?!Alright, I’m zoned out by now

There are even times I miss her but I know we weren't good for each other. I don't want anyone to feel sorry for me--I think they should feel sorry for M.

The person from story 8 sounds like they aren’t telling us the whole story. Why does this woman want to take your cat now that she has cancer? Seems like it’s bothering her that you have a cat that you just let do whatever it wants all day. You’re a terrible owner and should be ashamed, granted, yes, catching your cat and taking it away is bad as well. All I’m saying is it sounds like you’re the one who let it escalate to that level because you’re the one responsible for your animals. The police clearly recognized the bs that was transpiring and didn’t bother

I don't CARE if you have my cat trapped in your yard I am going over there and saving its ass, but that's just me I love animals and will do anything that I can to help them.

I would punch anyone who traps my cat or cause harm to my cat. I love my cat to death and I don't care who you are or how old you are you will be punched or even have your ass kicked. That is what that cancer woman deserved. I hate hearing stories that involve animals being abused or killed.

I would too, and take a gun with me to do so. But it sounded like that was a young child, or young teen, and I don't blame the kid a bit for not saving the cat. I wouldn't want my children putting themselves in harms way at such a young age.

Me too. No one would get away with hurting my animals. My cats are inside cats & don't even try to get out.

How exactly was story #4 meant to be scary??? Auto mechanic guy is slimy, parts ways with the girl who's grossed out on account of his sliminess, girl sees slimy guy again and he tries to (unsuccessfully) flirt with her. I get it, we've all been in her shoes at least once, but this story sounded better suited for a rage-filled segment of 'Feminist Frequency -- Why Masculinity is the Most Toxic Social Condition in the History of EVER!' than a horror story forum.

arbutusviper1 a young woman tells a guy she's married, and he still insists on taking her somewhere so they can have sex? You think that's normal behavior and can't understand why that would freak someone out?
@arbutusviper15 жыл бұрын
tekbarrier I didn't say it was "normal", I stated simply that many of us have been in her shoes. A guy who behaves like a sleaze and uses vulgar pick-up lines hardly makes for a horror story, at least not for the genre of this channel. It's an unpleasant experience for a young woman which didn't escalate beyond emotional discomfort (thankfully), but the fright and the drama are a product of the narrator's imagination, not the circumstances. I could share some personal stories, and if I infused the right amount of tension, drama and emotion I too could make an awkward experience with a gross, older man sound a lot more horrific than it was.

tekbarrier I agree! Asshole guys that think they are entitled to women is creepy af!

@@arbutusviper1 I completely agree with you. I have had more worrisome times with creepy men that go beyond "a guy hit on me and then never bothered me again and we accidentally cross paths in a small town'. Honestly, i'm starting to think the girl in the story found this creepy because it was the first time someone hit on her. She's going to need to buckle down for what's coming. There isnt a shortage of creepy people in the world.

I have never had friends that have stalked me for years but I have had friends who manipulated me and made me do things I didn't want to do and one of them tried to drown another one of my friends in the pool because I spent to much time with her and the girl who tried to drown my other friend hated anyone who got to close to me, even my own family, so I can understand where the author of the first story is coming from

The OP said the parents didnt want to go through the drama of dusting for fingerprints! Why why why? I had my home broken into, and the police weren't intetested in dusting for fingerprints!🤬 They could atleast possibly keep someone else from going through the same trauma or worse! Also, I hope the OP doesn't tell people he/she knows that they haven't secured one of their doors yet! Not a smart thing to announce!
