The way Ada speaks tells a lot! Please those hoping to come abroad to work, it's always in your best interest to avoid problems with your employers. Your name is written in chalk, not even pencil. 😄 Here she is again on KZbin saying she recorded her conversation with her employers. After recording yourself in a client's house. Wow! What if your new employer comes across this video? You will yet be liable for recording them. Please, my people, beware of this type of behaviour. This is not the way. Take the salt and discard the stones. Ciao!

Bringing out your phone in a client's house is very wrong. I personally refrain from it and its always better to stay away from having issues at the office with your employers. You need not check the companies policies . Confidentiality is one of the key factor in Care work. Please let's be guided. A nursing mother need not go for domiciliary care job. Moreover , desperation has pushed a lot further, such that they are faced with so many issues.

A lot of youtubers (not only Nigerians) forget what is called work ethic. You do not have to make any videos at work. Some things do not just add up
@chukwuemekagodwin7287 Жыл бұрын
The company was actually lenient with you because you broke their contract and you need to pay back. Maybe they don't want to expose their company to be ridiculed instead they will sue you for breech of contract. Taking videos or using phone during work hours is prohibited, even your client would have sued you for invading their privacy. If you forget something after work , you need to inform the company first and they tell their client before you get back to their house because your client can change the story to monitoring them and having bad motives. Finally, inasmuch as you claimed to be wise, there is also to large extent need to bend down and learn the system first , knowing fully well that many eyes MUST be on you on daily bases. I come in peace. People should learn from this video. Tochi you are doing well.

Care work is not an industrial company. Care work is for people who are able to help people who can not help themselves. Travelling from shift to shift is not paid for. Carers get paid for the hours they will have worked. The more hours you work the more money you get paid. That lady is not serious about her children left at home because people should consider how they will cope with both work and children. Some contracts are 6 months living in a client's house. That's why there's need for more healthcare programs. The lady is not employable. Working with people requires confidentiality. You don't have a case and you will never get work with people anymore. People should look for 8 to 5pm jobs. You are not allowed to enter the house where you will have worked when you finish your shift you can not go back into the house again. There's policies and procedures one should know before applying for a job.

Also, when you’re an adult in the working world you have to let go of that “I’m stubborn” or “this is how I am” attitude. That’s just a given. As far as your hrs they were wrong for that. It's highly unethical to firstly use your phone whilst working and secondly film in your client's house. You were absolutely wrong. If that were my house I would sue you for breach of privacy. Remember you are in someone else's home. Ignorance is no defence in the law. Learn the rules and follow them please. And above all use commonsense. Would you like a complete stranger to film in your home without your permission and post it on the internet? As for domicilary work it is awful. Why on earth do you think they have to recruit globally to fill posts? Commonsense should let you know that it is an undesirable role if the natives do not want to do it.

There is a lot going wrong in this case. Both, the employer and the employee have to follow legal rules. Normally a mother with a 6 month old child does not to have to work at all if the care for the child is not guaranteed. This is something the British authorities take very serious. They either organize this child care or care financially for you if you have to stay at home and the income of the partner is not enough. A work contract in the other side is not a wish what I want agreement but also the employer has to obey the law (many do not, so be aware).

There are some truths that have been left out in this video. You can't take pictures of your work environment especially when you are at work, even careful if at break as long as you are within the working period with your agency or company. If she did this at home or after work then but not when at the client's home. You can't take pictures at work and during your employers work time. Things work different abroad and must abide to the rules. Only 4 months and already breaking the rules, this is why these westerners are cautious of us WA and don't want to hire us West Africans. Obey the laws and rules, this is not Africa where you can get away with breaking the rules/laws. That's bad advice she is giving, if you are that desperate how can you refuse to sign a contract that will give you an opportunity you never had before. Sign and do the legal things your employer asks of you, that will be a good reference on your resume when you look for other jobs. She is lucky she got out scotfree so telling others not to apply, please people do apply and abide to the rules and regulations you will be ok, leave your attitude behind and act professional you will be fine. Some people work 2 to 3 jobs abroad why complain when you get more hours at one job and get paid for? Apply people, there are many who would like to be in her shoes and do the right thing and get going.

Some of these domiciliary companies have that policy of only paying for the actual number of minutes or hours spent with the clients’s homes. A couple also pay fixed amount per week/ month to cover a certain proportion of the transportation fees incurred by the staff. From my personal 3 months experience with it in two different companies, the actual job is usually easier in comparison with some care homes. However, the issue is with the transportation, loads of walking ( in bad weather at times) and not getting paid this time spent traveling between clients homes. God bless all domiciliary care workers for the great work and the sacrifice.

This is a modern day slavery. Africans must awake and stand up to this wickedness. None of these people giving you such stringent rules cannot do it themselves. We need to watch out and some Africans also join in doing this to others. Congrats Ada. Africans be your brothers keeper and leave your Africans ideas at your airports before travelling. I am happy for you.

She's must be a novice not to know about domiciliary care, the hours outside clients house is not counted in Dom care. Our people are just so desperate to come to UK, Dom is not a job. Your company must really be hiding something, if not you would have been thought about work ethic and know the different between doha and UK.

@Holllaoluwa2024 Жыл бұрын
Yes same thing, before signing any contract ask questions. What is the nature of the job, how is it done? Is it moving from one client house to the other, if yes,, then it is dom/home care Live in is when you live permanently with the client Nursing home is working within a team looking after clients in a residential home. You are looking after clients who are like living in same location

This woman thinks she is Nigeria. BTW, what kind of a woman, wife would come online to show her ''boldness'' which is just disrespect or disregard to her employer, husband and the authority. UNISON is not there to be misused and even if you went there you would have been told it's inappropriate to do those stuff you did. You need to learn about work ethics, company's policy on privacy and data protection.

It’s so unethical making videos at work thank goodness you didn’t show the client and his house. Changing job comes with favour most times. 18:38
