In Sept '21, my gf and I took a trip down to Raleigh/Durham for my birthday (I used to live in Raleigh). I wanted to take her to Duke's campus and show her CIS. So as soon as we turned the corner from Krzyzewskiville to go towards CIS, I see Theo John and Paolo Banchero talking. Paolo looked as if he needed to wrap up the conversation. We approach Theo and asks if we could get a picture with both of y'all. He said that Paolo is running late for class but will take some photos with me. We talked about his time at Marquette and asked why he chose to transfer to Duke. Gave us dap, I turn around and see Mark Williams heading out way with the biggest smile on his face. All three were great polite guys. Go Duke

Stayed in the same dorm as Elfrid Payton the year he got drafted. He barely went out alone & always had at least 3 teammates to insulate him. Once, his draft stock came out, he didn't leave the dorm for anything but class & practice. He couldn't even walk off the elevator without having someone trying to talk to him. He was nice through it all & took it in stride but I'm sure that had to be very annoying.
