yes for giyuu and tanjiro's relationship!! best duo in kny for me and it's not even close you explained it perfectly with tanjiro getting to be a little brother and giyuu getting to be an older brother who can protect him. (spoilers) that's why i think it's so meaningful that despite giyuu outright saying tanjiro was as strong as a hashira, he was still leading protection for tanjiro and running ahead of him. and why it's devastating that giyuu was pushed out by tanjiro against muzan and that's why giyuu survived but tanjiro died. giyuu was protected AGAIN only for the other to die. and like, can we as a community talk more about how giyuu's entire focus was on tanjiro the entire sunrise countdown arc (and infinity castle obviously)??? he was more concerned about tanjiro than he was with like, the actual demon lord muzan himself. can't wait to hear giyuu yelling "TANJIRO!" for the 100th time and i will gladly eat it all up.

Sometimes I wish the hashiras was knew that Giyuu is not stuck up. He just hates himself and thinks he doesn’t deserve to be a hashira. SPOILERS* But at least Sanemi befriended him at the end. And won’t hate him for the rest of his life.

tbh i felt like the giyu backstory was the bare minimum because of how poorly executed it is
