She doesn't do too many interviews (especially in comparison to other artists), but there are definitely a few good ones from her Norman F*cking Rockwell era in 2019. The two that probably stand out to me from then are with 104.3 MYfm and ALT 98.7 FM (both on youtube). But I think it would be interesting if you looked at two interviews, maybe one of those more recent ones and then one of her from her Born To Die era. She was incredibly soft spoken and it's clear over the years she's become more comfortable in front of the camera, so it's definitely cool to see that change. There's a short one on youtube with NME circa 2012, and in this interview she also briefly gives some background on Video Games and how/why she wrote it. I believe the woman falling is Paz de la Huerta. It's paparazzi footage and I do think she was intoxicated at the time. I'm pretty sure the entire music video is mainly a compilation of vintage clips and home videos of Lana's friends.

NME Awarded Video Games as SONG OF THE DECADE. Lana edited this video by herself and recorded w her sister. Many critics names Born to die as one of the most influential album that shaped decade of pop music. Even taylor swift has said this about Lana in her Woman of the decade award speech. She used to sing in bars and clubs for 7 to 8 years with different stage names before Born to die. So after her big debut she was very camera shy and had stage fright but She has gotton better and better at those.

I like music (and art in general) that can be interpreted in different ways. That’s what makes Lana’s music great. You can listen to and think about it for days...even years....and still find something different or it can mean something different at different stages of your life. While at the same time she is telling a deeply personal story. She’s just great.

This song takes me to 2011, the first time I heard it. I still remember what I was doing and what I felt when I heard this song. From that moment Lana became my company and I was never alone. I’m glad that she still making music for us these days.

Yes please more Lana! She edited this video herself by the way, and this was the song that launched her in the mainstream scene. The song and MV that made me discover Lana. I was a highschool freshman back then and to this very second she's still my favorite artist. I'm so grateful to have been able to experience all of her creations real-time from Born To Die to Blue Banisters. A testament to her genius artistry. Also let's be honest Video Games is the inspiration to the song PS5 lol.

Her 102.7.KISSFM interview from 2019 is a good interview. She seems very genuine! She used to be much more shy back in 2012-2013 but her confidence has grown substantially
