I absolutely adore your thoughtful, technical and educational reactions on Faouzia's music!🥰 Just a respectful tip.. her name is pronounced "F-OH-ZEE-UH!! This is how she herself pronounces her name. I love that you describe her as Moroccan-Canadian... as she is very proud of her heritage and homelands. I love that you are tackling her stripped versions of her song.. and I would love for you to do more of her stripped works.. like This Mountain .. You Don't Even Know Me.. How It All Works Out and Bad Dreams to start with. Then some great studio tracks are RIP Love, Puppet, Hero and Minefields with John Legend. Oh and to really see her in a big chunk.. is her live concert at the Burton Cummings theatre in Canada during the pandemic ... that she has uploaded on her channel in full. You can see her sing Elon live during that concert and it will surprise you. Anyways.. if you want to copy and paste these suggestions to you list of reactions to hear.. I think they might be very helpful. Lastly.. she has some covers.... Desert Rose by Sting..... Blue.... by Eiffel 66... Starboy by The Weeknd.. and even Fly Me To The Moon by Sinatra .. I think you can even find medleys' people have put together of these oh KZbin and TikTok. 🤩 Okay that's enough of me rambling here. Thank you for the awesome content.. keep up the great work!!! Cheers from Canada 😁🍁🍁🍁

Faouzia analyzer well done Carl! I am lucky to be alive the same time period as Faouzia and Dimash. what makes Faouzia special is her deep dark voice that makes us tear up when listening to her heartbreaking lyrics & music to match it. Along other mastery that she posses. it's also her half note that she uses all over, including in her runs & vibrato. sad song matches her voice that’s why she has very few happy song as of this writing, though she's a happy person in real life. what most analysts miss out is her first song that went viral. She was 18 years when she posted it on Ticktok and that’s how Faouzia put herself on the map; the song "This Mountain"...singing it with her budget mic & singing her heart out in her room. it’s motivational song (my favorite), which tells us her mindset to make it in this nasty controlled music industry, no matter how hard it is; climbing this mountain. in my opinion, 'this mountain' not only should be on analyzer's list but also to recognize Faouzia message to us that she's heading to the top! and she's manifesting her dream to reality that we are currently witnessing! If u help out young artists, u can show them how Faouzia had unwavering determination to make it to the top, though she was unknown when she sang it! u will be the first to talk about her mindset and how she manifested her dreams. thanks in advance. here's the link: kzbin.info/www/bejne/oKnZhad4aLR3qJo

Thank you so much for your insightful comment and for sharing your perspective on Faouzia's artistry. It's truly inspiring to witness the depth and emotion she brings to her music, from her hauntingly beautiful voice to the heartfelt lyrics she delivers with such authenticity. You've highlighted a crucial aspect of Faouzia's journey that often goes overlooked - her early viral hit "This Mountain." It's remarkable to think that she made such an impact at just 18 years old, singing her heart out in her room with a budget mic. The message of determination and resilience in that song is incredibly powerful and speaks volumes about Faouzia's unwavering commitment to her craft. I wholeheartedly agree that recognizing Faouzia's mindset and her journey to manifest her dreams is essential, not just for her fans but also for aspiring artists who can draw inspiration from her story. I'll be sure to check out the link you provided and delve deeper into her music and message. Thank you for your support and for shedding light on this important aspect of Faouzia's artistry. Let's continue to celebrate her talent and the incredible impact she's making in the music industry.

Greetings again from Montreal! I'm thrilled that you're enjoying Faouzia! That means we can enjoy more to come. 🙂 All of the "Stripped" series is incredible. On some of those songs she plays piano as well, which adds a whole new depth to her talent. "Bad Dreams (Stripped)" is one of my personal favorites, but they're all good. The original music video for "Tears of Gold" is also one of my favorites, perhaps because it's where I first discovered Faouzia. It's a gorgeous pop song that really showcases how she weaves her heritage through her music, like gold threads in a fine tapestry. Faouzia started her KZbin channel in her teens, doing covers, like many KZbin artists. Some of them are awesome! My personal favorites of those are "Starboy" by the Weeknd, "Middle Child" by J. Cole, and "Blue", by Eiffel 65. That one she turns on it's head! No matter what you choose next, you can't go wrong. And don't forget "Minefields" with John Legend. Enjoy!

Greetings from Durban, South Africa! Your enthusiasm for Faouzia is truly contagious, and I'm grateful for your support and recommendations. It's wonderful to hear about the depth and talent showcased in the "Stripped" series, especially with Faouzia adding her piano skills into the mix. "Bad Dreams (Stripped)" sounds like a gem, and I'll definitely add it to my list. The original "Tears of Gold" music video sounds like a beautiful introduction to Faouzia's artistry, and I can imagine how her heritage shines through in her music like intricate gold threads. It's fascinating to learn about her journey from doing covers on KZbin to becoming the remarkable artist she is today. I appreciate your suggestions for her cover songs as well. "Starboy," "Middle Child," and "Blue" sound like they would showcase her unique interpretation and talent brilliantly. And I absolutely won't forget to check out "Minefields" with John Legend - that collaboration sounds incredible. Thank you once again for your warm welcome and valuable insights. I'm excited to continue exploring Faouzia's music journey with all of you.

Love it! Glad she’s in your top list of singers, as that is where she should be on everyone’s list!! She is SO talented, it boggles my mind that she never had vocal lessons, but was classically trained in piano and violin. Yes, stick with her stripped series, they showcase her vocals more, but definitely check out everything she’s done as she is multifaceted and loves to experiment and explore different sounds and techniques. Great reaction and analysis!! Will keep watching and waiting for more!!❤❤❤

Hallo Carl, I'd definitely be here for more reactions to Faouzia and your passion for great art, the two of you go undeniably very well together :) I am especially eager to hear your take on some of the songs she performed live in Abi Dhabi three years ago in a very raw way, stripped down to just her playing a grand piano and singing for most of the set, with a guest pianist for the two final cover songs after playing, several originals, a great version of Tears Of Gold among them, but as you heard this one here right now I'd suggest you pick another one. One of my favorites is "How It All Works Out"... Peace and love from Bavaria

Thank you for this excellent reaction to one of the most colourful performance of Faouzia. I do believe that this song maybe one of the most difficult and beautiful song of this century, and you were able to give us a brief analysis of its complexity. Fouzia is not only talented as you may observe but also intelligently manages her music and lyrics with a mastery. Another way to evaluate her musical intelligence is how she cover an ordinary song like "Blue": kzbin.info/www/bejne/l3umf6tplM-dZ6M, to a masterpiece, or a strong rap song J, Cole "Middle child" of a something phenomenal : kzbin.info/www/bejne/m57Fk4hui86Ml68 Thanks again.
