This is their style most of the time. The song you reacted to before was more of a ballad type song. Speaking of Angela Gassow, she was a guest vocalist on Amaranthe's song Do or Die.

The quality of the songs have gone up quite a bit from when they first started for sure, you should check out "GG6" by Amaranthe aswell as "Do or Die" featuring Angela Gossow if you haven't heard that one yet ;) thank you for the reaction!

I've had the pleasure of seeing them live a couple of times, including in London supporting Sabaton on the tour they did just before the lockdown became a thing. Something you may or may not be interested in is that they did a cover of a Sabaton song called "82nd all the way"

Yo ! Olof & Elize said during an interview that they wanted to come back to a heavier sound and also change to a lower key for the songs so that it fits Nils voice. I think that, in this tune, Olof plays with « drop A » tuning, so more or less half an octave lower than standard tuning. That’s why the riff is so heavy sounding.

Since their debut in 2011 they have had 5 singers 3 at a time Amaranthine was off their 1st album with a different screamo singer and the new screamo came on their 3rd album they got a new clean male singer in 2017

Yeah, the one you did before was their power ballad Amaranthine (with just Elize and their previous other clean vocalist), this is much more like their regular sound. Catchy 90:s euro electronica mixed with power metal, there are a lot of songs to check out if you liked this. 365, GG6, Drop Dead Cynical, Digital World, Helix, 82nd all the way (Sabaton cover). You might also want to check out Do or Die where Angela Gossow joins them (it's the video they guy is watching in the begining). Good eye catching the Corona bottle, most other reaction channels either didn't notice or mention it.

They will (hopefully) be on tour with 'Beyond the Black" in April 2021. 9 concerts in Germany. The "new" male clean vocalist is Nils Molin, he is also lead vocalist in a band called "Dynazty". The growler is Henrik Englund Wilhelmsson, imho he has a very unique style of growling. Amaranthe songs are always very catchy, sometimes harder, sometimes more pop, they don't really care about genres, but they called it "Dance Metal" themselves The song you reacted to before (Amaranthine) is of course the perfect "grab-your-lighter-and-sing-along-song" at their concerts.

No it's a different singer & screamer. I ran across them about a year ago and there in my top 3 now a days. I live in the us and actually bought as many tickets(6) as i could possible buy. To see them next month in Dallas. And CANCELLED!! I'd pay double what i paid 4 the tickets 2 see them Live!! Nothing catchy about them!!! And CATCHY guitar!!! Olof is a beast on the axe!! I've listen 2 everything i could possible on youtube. And hes hands down one of the best guitarist in the music business today. And i listen to mostly heavy heavy metal. But, thats just my option one of the best bands around. And if your really into some "head banging" music. Try PARKWAY DRIVE!!! Crushed or Bottom Feeders. Once again thats just my option!!!

Yes thats more like the Amarathe style. Sadly the screamer from the first 2 records (Andy) left the band and the change did impact my enjoyment of the later stuff, but its geting there again. About the styl itself the german wiki lists alot of influences from other bands, here they are and pls tell which one feels weird to see at this list. In Flames, Freedom Call, Children of Bodom, Blood Stained Child, Roxette Btw Angela Gossow is featured in one of the new songs (do or die) , maybe you like to take a look at it. (I think the video the one guy is watching on the tablet at the beginning might even be this exact video)
