Then the part where the mature-looking Rosé is looking at the innocent-looking Roseanne who is playing the piano happily. But then when you go back to the beginning of the song... Damn.. you can totally see how not everything in her current life is all good (for her) and though it isn't, this is all she had wanted after all. And one more thing that made me realize this is Rosé singing to Roseanne is "Every day, every night I've been thinking back on you and I.." and then it connects to the pre-chorus, which is the best part of this whole song for me personally💖 truly amazing how she delivered her words into this majestic song debut!!🖤💗🖤💗

There’s such a deep meaning in this song. As she said it was kind of a philosophical ponder by her. I love it! I love that she is not just a pretty face, but her song has a deep meaning n reflective of sth that happened in the past. It's like when she was just Roseanne, she wanna be on high surface and wanna be rosé. But when she is now rosé, then she realized that all the things she needs is on the ground. There's a lot of meaning and symbols, i can't tell and i don't have words to tell you guys. I can't process myself oh my goodness!!! And the Mirror thingy, when she wrote roseanne, she disappeared. My interpretation about that is when she tried to be rosé, her being just her/roseanne, disappeared. She worked hard just to get high then she realized she just needs to be herself (roseanne) and all she needed is on the ground. Idk 'bout you guys, though.

In the press conference she said to concentrate at the lyrics since she wrote both songs and she said its what she's feels the most her. Another thing is if you realize the mv is her present self meeting her past self which she said in the press conference. Plus she said that that choreography is flashy and has alot of killing points. I watched Rosé KZbin originals interview where she explained about her solo song. She said it's not a love song. She is taking to her past self and finding the answers of all the questions in her life. The scene in the bridge of the song she is interacting with her past self. And that is her childhood house with the piano where she grew up in Australia. In that interview she also called her sister Alice on the phone. We got hear her sister's voice for the first time🥰.
