I agree! However, the one I really wanted it to get was Game Direction. In my opinion, it deserved it, for "We Sing", alone! I was so happy that it won! Absolutely genius to have this performance! However, I can't imagine how confused I'd be if I hadn't played the game! 😂😂

The visual actor here, Ilkka Villi was also the original visual actor for alan wake 1. He looks pretty different, but it has been 13 years

To be fair, in the original release in game Alan and VHS Alan look pretty different. They remedy that on the remaster.

But it makes sense, isn’t it? Alan Wake stuck in the Dark Place for a decade and he’s been in that looping nightmare of his until he’s got out. All that stress and all that depresso-expresso would do a number on you physically.

Ilkka Villi has always been Alan Wakes body and face. He just aged in 13 years and grew hair :D

Alan Wake 2 deserves all the love it got at the awards! BTW: Illka played Alans likeness and motion capture in the 1st game as well. While Matt obviously did the voice.

Who's who's real simple; Ilkka Villi is the face of Wake and Zane, and the voice of Zane in AW2 Matthew Porretta is the face and voice of Dr. Darling, and the voice of Wake. Sam Lake is the face of Casey, Casey, Aleksi Kesä, and himself, and the voice of Aleksi Kesä and Sam Lake. James McAffrey is the voice of Tom in AW1, Casey and Casey in AW2, Max Payne, and the face and voice of Trench.

They all share the same ancestry if you go back far enough. Same culture, racial background, similar sounding language, proximity etc. But I understand your point.

@@kninezbanks What the hell? No. Go far back enough goes for every nationality. Yeah, Nordic culture, not Scandinavian regardless. Finns came from the east. And language isn't even in the same family. There's no point, just a factual correction. (Also I'm Swedish, Finland used to belong to Sweden.) I'll delete my comment out of sympathy if you delete yours.

@@kninezbanksEnd your miserable existence. The Finnish language is as close to Swedish as Chinese is. Our genes too come from the east. Maybe know just ONE thing about the topic you're discussing??
