I think it's great you still decorate the tree for your family. I remember after I moved out at age 22, my parents didn't put the Christmas tree up anymore. Which was sort of disappointing. So it took me a few years but then I realized, maybe I should help put it up. And now I help my mom every year get everything out and it's great memories for me.

One year I was away prior to Christmas and got home day before Christmas eve. My daughter put my tree up for me so I came home to it done. Only me home but still lovely.

Yes , that was a good idea ☺️I remember how I felt going back home and the house dark for Christmas 😟I was sad. So next time my husband and I put them up for them. Neighbors commented on it lol. I didn’t live in the same state as my family. But if I had I would have put them up for my mom and daddy. I hope my boys do that for us. I’m 67 and we still decorate for them. Because I remember how I felt 😢

Decorating the Christmas tree was always a family affair in my house. I love homemade ornaments from the kids too. Our tree was always a 'kids' tree. The tree looks beautiful

This brought tears to my eyes with the memories I have of going out as a family (like almost 2 hrs from our house) to find that perfect Christmas tree 🌲 every yr, our tree used to go to the ceiling and take up half of our living room, lol but the icicles was a must I remember the most beautiful Christmas trees it’s like each year the tree would get more and more beautiful, I tried carrying on the tradition of my parents but we had moved out of state and somehow with packing and getting rid of things we didn’t need anymore, my box of ornaments that had all the ornaments accidentally got thrown away, so upsetting. But I would like to thank you for bringing up such fond memories, Merry Christmas 🎁🎄❤️💚☃️❄️🎅🤶

I love it! I used to love doing icycles on my tree too til I saw that a friend's dog ate some off of her tree and it wrapped around his insides and killed him. They are beautiful, but just be careful of your furbabies. Your tree reminds me of our tree growing up in the 70s, too.

The soup looks amazing I never thought of using that type of noodle but I’m gonna have to try this it looks delicious. 🍵🥄 And the Christmas tree is really pretty and I do. remember growing up there was always icicles on the Christmas tree, The Temptations Christmas album playing in the background my grandmother may God rest her soul would be in the kitchen making sweet potato pies, a coconut cake, a German chocolate cake, & homemade eggnog. Just watching you decorate your tree was awesome we didn’t have a live trees we had a really big green tree that after the holidays would always be put back in its box , we had glass ornaments that my grandmother would have to go back buy more some of them would break, in away this was nostalgic for me, brought back really great memories, The green tree, lights, the icicles, I could just picture the glass ball ornaments, Really enjoyed the Contant as always. happy holidays. ⛄️

Your tree brings back memories from my childhood the way you decorate it. We would go to a local place to buy one. My dad would cut off the bottom an put it in a bucket of water over night then in the stand. He would put on the lights an watch us kids (6) decorate.

Aw, I love your tree, too! Its shape reminds me more of the Christmas trees from when I was a kid. I'm an 80s kid, but unlike most, I remember nearly every day since I was a year old. Sometimes It's extra lonely because I remember every conversation and happy/ sad moment very clearly with lots of loved ones long gone. My husband and I are some of the only adults left in our circle. My tree is always nostalgic and covered in kid ornaments. My kids are teenagers, but my son is mentally a little guy for always. He gets SO happy adding more Jesus and sesame street ornaments every year! Your homemade ornaments from your kids are so adorable. I bet they're your favorites! Merry Christmas, Bells!!! 💙🙏❄️

We have 5 Christmas trees. My daughter and son in law decorated them. A 14 ft tree in the living area , a 11 ft tree in her office, a 11 ft in my living room, a 11 ft tree in their bedroom, and a 10 ft tree in the man cave of my son-in-law’s storage building. The outside of the house and front and back yard are decorated like a beautiful theme park. We all love Christmas so much. We start November 1st on the outside of the house and yard the outdoor kitchen pavilion and progress to the inside of the house. We leave them up to the end of January.

Love your channel, we always put a tow chain or two on the legs of the stand then covered them with a tree skirt or whatever you use under the tree to hold it so it won't fall.
