Hi Guys, enjoying the podcast!!! In answer to the question: Your love language refers to what you need to recieve from your Significant Other (S.O.) that makes you feel loved by them. If it meant the contrary, you'd be purely satisfying your own ego by gift giving because you'd be doing what you want to do. It could only work if your S.O. wants to receive gifts as a love language. Otherwise, if you're S.O. needs quality time, and you're just giving them things; while you're thinking you're doing the most and showing them love, they're left feeling unloved because they don't get to spend enough time with you.

2 episodes in and a few shorts, I can tell that you guys will be one of my favorites. I just wanted to say that the Tommy Hilfiger rumor about not wanting black people to wear his clothing has been debunked so many times. They claimed that he said it on Oprah, but he was never on her show. She has also verified that she never met him. Everything else I do agree with, I love the comedy of it and even the serious talk at the end.

The love language part was grinding my gears. loool. They're both right. But Kane was saying gift giving is his love language but he's actually just romantic!! Chris was right but got confused (maybe the liquor) Most people assume that their love language is their partners, which is how most people mess up! A lot of people don't learn others love language. 2 episodes in & my whole chest belly is hurting from the way i have been laughing. the energy is next level!! Glad i finally decided to watch from little clips i have been seeing floating. Love this!!

Super lovely podcast !! And all subject going from the love language to the how black community operates is super interesting. You have both impact in my opinion , the other community not wanting us to prosper , we've seen examples back in the US, we started something like the "black wall street" , it was burnt down to the ground. On the other hand, we need to operate better to boost the economy in our community first. We're lucky to have a huge community when you mix Africans, carribeans , afro American and so on. We need to use that to be stronger . We are known to be big spenders , let's find a way to spend in our community

I read the book as well. The. Love languages don't have to be the exact same of how you give love and how you receive love. The main way I give love is quality time and words of affirmation. The way I receive love is acts of service and quality time .
