The cons of potatoes are: 1. Can be eaten by 2 mouths: herbivore and omnivore 2. Breaks from a single touch by mouth You should not leave potatoes wide open so they cant be eaten easily. You can use leafblocks to make a protection layer but that can be broken by herbivore. Also for 100% protection from LAND small herbivores is to use water storage walls (hard to explain but i can dm the screen shot of it), but be aware that mid and huge sized herbivores can just spam a & d keys to climb on top of you, against that you can use branches but dont make a full wall out of them since they consume a lot rather make a distance of 2 or 1 block between them and fill it with water storage. Also you should try out carbon blocks after learning basics

Also a tip for laying out potatoes, create nodes with 2 leafs attached to each node and then expand around those 2 leafs with another layer of 2 leafs, you can now turn those inner leafs into potatoes.

Tips as a plant YOU MUST PROTECT UR POTATOS as they can be DESTROYED AND EATEN use leaf blocks they give you energy (potatos don't) Thorns can give damage to any animals Potatoes help with metabolism (makes ur consumption slower) Leafs and top thorns protect potatos ( I'm too tired rn 😭) Hope this helps

If you get that infected from a fungus then just surround the whole fungus in Nodes, then the fungus cannot expand and will quit because there will be no point of playing👍

Nah bro that’s just mean don’t do the fungus like that btw they can actually be helpful too if they get a mushroom a hyphae, water storage, water converter, poison storage, and the poison gas spitter they can protect you from herbs

some fugus players are good people and wont waste your energy,fungus can be good symbiotes because they can protect you with their poison, and to evade herbivores you have to make walls of water or branches, you can also make a spike pit with a carnivorous plant in the middle to catch grassers trying to kill you

u cant really get a full protection to herbivores unless ur in a colony thatll help u out if any gnats enter i recommend getting strong bonds with a colossal animal so itll help u out if u get attacked by herbs

How to be free (REQUIRES 2 PLAYERS) step one : make 2 nodes (put leaves when it's taking long) Step (insert tpot intro) : wait for the other player to come Step 3 : the fungus must infect the node that's not attached to you Step 4 : delete the node ur connected to Step 5 : the fungus MUST despawn ( IF THEY LEAVE THE NODE WILL BE R E M O V E D) (If ur reading this and you don't understand wth I'm saying I'm good also HI YT)

By the way, the carbon processor is really useful for XP gaining if you want to take the time to learn how it works but it would only really be worth it if you’re playing for long sessions I know your videos usually will be 25-10 minutes long but if you all of a sudden had a like a 40 minute stream this would quite be worth it by the way, place your nodes diagonally because you can place more leaves without spending too much nutrients on Nodes
