I don’t know what triggers the brain of a person when they hear the sound of pipe band. The deep voice of the bass or the haunted sound for the bass and tenors pipes. It could be both. But it triggers an emotion that drives respect 🫡. It makes you think , collect the relevant, lose the sorrow, cleansing all what has deluded the mind. These piper shown having the max effect on me. I chuckle, fill up with emotions. Yes it hits me in full blown force ever time. Thanks for sharing and please don’t lose this special cult.

I was born in England to an Irish mum, English dad. My heritage is Irish Scottish. The pipes are my absolute favourite. In Blairgowrie on holiday, in the middle of nowhere, snow on the ground, my wife organised a lone piper as a present for me. It brought tears to my eyes. A present never to be beaten. ❤

Awesome yes, inspiring yes such a proud and enduring history but I'm afraid not the worlds best. HM Royal Marines hold their shape during some real complicated manoeuvres in hugh formations while playing intricate music scores, enhanced by the support of the corps of drums. What you can say is the world looks on with envy that the UK has the best marching military bands in the world. What is amazing is the history of Scottish Military pipers and how many have fallen leading troops into battle, very brave men.
