Short explanation Bull king and wukong is sworn brother,long ago they clash with the court then wukong join the court and needed bull king wife fan but the bull king refuse because of his son then like in the animation the bull king fight the court alone and lose( i think bull king have many life same like wukong). Then later in the beginning of game wukong fight the court+probably the bull king too alone then he death, bull king always made the wrong choice, also the court usually see them as a criminals because they both are yaoguai, bajie looks evil because this in bull king pov
