I think the fact that the group grew, changed, and grew some more over 12+ years before the Sing Off helped make it the family that it is. Face it, if you are touring week after week with the same guys, stuffed in a small space - van/hotel rooms or an RV - and forced to set up, perform, take down, and get to the next venue night after night, you become a family - for better or worse. These guys know what it takes to be on the road without a support staff, they know they can rely on each other, and that cohesiveness makes their music even better.

Every part of their journey is extremely important and significant to Home Free and is to be celebrated. Their respect for all the groups they interact with is paying off in mega-dividends back to them. They are very intentional with their respect and are extremely humble. They look for the good in others on purpose. They look to collaborate not only with established stars but make opportunities with new rising talented artists as others have done for them. They are what is right for this industry that makes us all fall in love with them individually and collectively as Home Free!!!! I have know of these guys since they won the Sing Off and followed them ever since and still can't get over how "down-home country boys" they are. They are so patriotic and honest and steadfast in their beliefs. It truly is refreshing to witness these guys in their journey in these days. LOVE THESE BOYS !!! That last snippet was their "Hunter Hayes Medley" and YES PLEASE check it out. It is EPIC !!!

I enjoy watching some of these older videos. This one is from 2014. Love seeing some of the background scenes of their time on the road & their concerts. They were so good then but have only gotten better. And that song is fitting as it shows part of "the story of their life".

Agreed. So much of the world is highly competitive. Maybe one of the reasons that I love acapella. Even in "competitions" like the SingOff, it's so much about mentoring and helping each other, perhaps because the genre/community is/was so small. They've all acknowledged that.

The video snippet at the end was released shortly after the HF guys' Sing-Off win--it's called "Hunter Hayes Medley" and I've always loved it. It has never gotten nearly enough attention as far as I'm concerned, and almost nobody reacts to it. I would LOVE to see what you think of it‼️

I love this one going through clips of other videos, concerts , clips of other songs them goofing around! The fun thing about it is that I have seen a lot of the videos of these antics that people have posted and it makes me laugh and feel like I am a part of their story in a way and I love that!!👍 It makes me happy!❤❤😊

This is a favorite older Home Free cover! There’s loads of fun and heartwarming events in this one! There were snippets of their “Guilty Pleasures” stint they used to do back then. You really should check out one of those videos! It’s hilarious! I do also agree with you about the a cappella community! They are very supportive of each other and I know Home Free doesn’t appreciate it much when some Home Fries say they like their cover better than the original artist. They were actually on the same season of the Sing Off as Voice Play, too! I enjoyed your reaction! Love how you give each of the guys props in their parts, and even kudos to Chris! He is a great guy, too! I do love some of the funny moments in this video, especially the one of Tim running up behind Rob and hugging him!

One of the film clips was from their routine Guilty Pleasures. There are two versions on video - Guilty Pleasures and Guilty Pleasures (Hilariously Derailed). It is worth it to see the original first and then the Derailed, so you know what was supposed to have happened.

They won me over by halfway thru The Sing Off. The concert tour after the show was Home Free, the Filharmonic, VoicePlay teamed with Emoni from Ten, and Street Corner Symphony. The social media posts and later collaborations indicate some great friendships were formed. This video released April 2014, looks like it was filmed during that Sing Off tour, because of the backdrop. I’m finally seeing them in person later this year.

You are correct about this being the Sing Off tour. I was at the show where the black and white clips on the guys on stage came from. I can pick out my mother and myself in the crowd. Was so excited to see this in a video. They just told the crowd that there would be some filming during the show, never said what it was going to be for!

I think you really enjoy Home Free's "From the Vault" series. Episode 1 is the behind the scenes film of "Try Everything" (and has Riley, Kenzie - The Hound & The Fox - and their baby as well as Rob's wife Kelsey). I can't be sure of the rest of them but the woman in the white cowboy hat is Tim's mom. To really see how low he can go, watch the live video "Tim Foust's vibrations" - mind-blowing.

I wholeheartedly agree with you about what you said about not knowing home free long but you just have this love for them as a group and individually. I was at first put off by them not because of them personally but them being a country acapella group through me off because I am not a country fan. But once I let that go away and I finally checked them out in January of this year I completely fell in love. They are all just so amazing, I have watched all of their videos, and doing that made me learn about them even more which made me love them more. They are all so special to me and I just am so glad to have them in my life. I can say the same things about VoicePlay too, though now I have known them for over a year they are just so special to me too. I would not be the same person I am today without both of these amazing groups. Thank you for the great reaction as always friend❤

Have you reacted to Hunter Hayes medley or Wake Me Up (the promo clip at the end)? Also, a lot of the clips are from the live versions of their "Guilty Pleasures" skit, which is hilarious but I thought you'd reacted to that one already? And the clip with Rob dancing and twirling on stage is with Filharmonic if you look closely, and was during the SingOff tour after they one when they went on the road with VoicePlay and Filharmonic. Also, I know you'd appreciate the SingOff journey for HomeFree and Pentatonix both (HomeFree is much shorter) but it gives you a lot of insight into both groups. If you'd don't do the journey though, I would suggest that you at least watch the 'SingOff' where Filharmonic and HomeFree went head-to-head because it's hilarious. Their approach was different than all the rest of the groups because instead of working against each other, they worked WITH each other and the performance will make you laugh and laugh and laugh...suggestion: watch Caddyshack ahead of time so you get some of the references. Loved this reaction.
