A lullaby to my ears! I'm from south Florida so I grew up with the Seminoles.. I wish I was an Indian! 🦅
@chair6894 жыл бұрын
It’s best to say native American or indigenous instead of Indian bc it it kinda offensive but everyone makes mistakes😊💕
@CookieMoster1014 жыл бұрын
@@chair689 I sincerely appreciate your advice and comment but like i said I grew up with the Seminoles in south Florida and I've always called them Indians. Never bothered any of them.. sorry it bothered you maybe. I understand what you mean tho.. kinda like its nicer to blacks: African Americans or Mexicans: Spanish or Whites: Caucasian but nobody does.
@alissagonzales735 Жыл бұрын
There is nothing offensive about being called Indian. They did for many years. They switch to Native American when the people from India started being referred to as Indian. So instead of people saying American Indian they said Native American.

Damn I love what you guyz are doing, , im also a singer myself. I am from Vancouver Island, , I love to sing n dance, , my family from my dads side iz jus so amazing and very uplifting. And my late mother's side iz all based on Entertainment n fn yk, just so awesome that we as first nations iz so freaking beautiful in our beliefs n strengths. gta love n acknowledge our ancestral up bringings. we are so fortunate that we as young men n ladies to help carry on with OUR culture and traditional ways, as our ancestors and grandparents here today were so disturbing ly stripped of OUR OWN WAYS OF LIVING. ALL ONLY BCUZ WE ARE TO STRONG TO GIVE UP N LET THAT GO, SO ALL IM SAYING Z PROUD AND LOVING NATIVE HERE. TAKE CARE OF OUR HERITAGE N BELONGING. . . . . .PEACE OUT/NATIVE PRIDE BABY!!!

My father is part Native American, but he doesn't teach me any of the native american language or about my heritage. Every time I listen or see a Native American I can't help but to feel whole. One of my biggest dreams is to meet some Native Americans who can teach me about my heritage and about the native American language.
