People say Ross was mean to Susan, but he was actually pretty nice to her giving the situation. She was Carol mistress, she mocked him constantly, she and Carol not only fucked his life, made his confidence go down the hill because they couldn't hold their lovey dovey until Carol divorced, she also tried to act as if Ben was more her kid than Ross'. And even after all of that, Ross treated her really well, even going his way to help Carol make up her mind and marry her. I know most of Susan's remarks towards Ross are supposed to be funny since it's a sitcom, but regardless. His story with Carol and Susan is quite sad. He may be childish some times, but Ross was a great father despite all he was put through.

Susan always irked me. Her whole attitude towards Ben being "her baby too" and her dismisive attitude about Ross's biological (not that biology and blood are the only things that connect you with a baby/child, love does that and it comes in so many forms) connection to the child always ticked me off. He had rights to this child. She had none!! Although, I never really liked Ross either. He had some very funny scenes in the show but if he were a real person I'd tell him he's an AH for his jealousy, possessiveness and his "I'm smarter than everyone else in the room" attitude. Which was always a turn off.
