I LOVE THIS FILIPINO MARKET IN DAVAO PROVINCE!
Seriously, the vibes are always amazing whenever I walk into the market in Baganga. Everyone is so friendly, and just shares so many laughs! In this video, we start with some market shopping in Baganga, then head back to the beach house in Cateel where Jandee makes an awesome family meal! After eating as a family, I wake up the next day and head out for a first experience in Baganga....
Curtain Falls. One of the most famous tourism sites in the region.
Davao beach house cooking and Filipino market shopping is always awesome! First experiences at waterfalls in the Philippines... amazing too! Life continues for us here in Davao Oriental, Mindanao.
Power On!

Hi great Kyle, How could you resist buying from happy vibes market vendors. It's fun to watch how much more in the actual scene. You're lucky man to have all-around guys with you. You got jundee to cook good meal and knows how to drive too. You have Kumar to depend on and does an all around task. There's madman too to beautify the premises. You also have Kumander Daot who acts like a clown to make everybody laugh. Perfect team! No wonder they call it "curtain falls" bc it really looks like a curtain hanging on the wall. Wonderful!

"Pak, ganern!" is an expression popularized by a tv host. "Pak" is the sound of a clap or forehead palm, and "ganern" is a variant of "ganun", which is a contraction of "ganoon". The whole thing means, "That's it!"-that's my take of it

That curtain falls is stunningly beautiful, and I can see it raging when water would be high! Market vibes is super everywhere. The naked chef! (That's kind of inviting hahaha!) Kidding aside, showing johndy working his magic in the kitchen tells us how good he is in his craft. And I can see, each one of you have different talents with same zest for adventure, cool! Oh and that post on the road, we have a lot of that here in butuan, road widening that's why. Always good vibes! Power on!

Those are stink bugs. We have them here in Virginia this time of year too. We capture them in a half filled water bottle with a few drops of soap dish. They end up drowning cause the soap prevents them from flying.

Kulas tell Jundee whenever he cook inun-onan, put paliya, talong & okra at the bottom of the kaldero. Then put fish on the top. Add vinegar, salt and soy sauce. Cover it. Then simmer in low fire for an hour…the vegetable will produce its own water…. So DELICIOUS!

21:22 - 21:51 Important to respect the power and unpredictability of nature. Curtain Falls will have another reason for it's name if you are not careful - it will be "curtains" for you if you get swept over the falls.

Pak, ganern = "Pak!" (sound imitating an explosion) + "Ganern" (gay slang for Tagalog "ganoon" = "like that"). Popularized by the comedian Vice Ganda. It's roughly equivalent to saying "Bam! Just like that!", "Boom! There it goes!", "Dayuuuuum", or "And that's how you do it." It's an expression of humorous admiration, a cheer, or applause for something impressive.
