It looks very clean. I do like the single clip adjustment on each leg that secures both extensions. I'm looking forward to taking a closer look at it in person. Thanks for the details Matt. Keep the product reviews coming. I may not end up with it now, but at least I know what I'm looking for next time I have a need for a video tripod. All the best. 👍

Hello Matt, Sorry not been around mush but not been to good. What you say aboout tripods is spot on, GOOD one just let you work, BAD one will give you nightmares.

Great video…..maybe a follow up on setting up counter balance etc would add some value for your viewers. I can tell you right now, having a good tripod for video is more important than most folks realize. We’ve all heard that even a video shot on a potato with good audio people will still watch…..but a potato video with good audio that is smooth as butter and free of vibrations…..even better. The test of a good fluid head is how smooth it starts and stops motion….that very tiny instant you begin moving, if it’s not smooth it’s over (test with a telephoto lens). So yeah buy a good tripod and fluid head…..best thing that has improved my video by far. If it doesn’t have a counter balance, don’t buy it!

The AD-Pro 8 head is definitely better than the original. Original has some drift.
