If Jakobe, dick, mogbo, chomche, shead can replicate the first young crop we are laughing!!!!! Nevwrmind already having Scottie , RJ , Iq. Impressed by Gradey who in two games has shot (8-26 fg / 0-9 3fg)? But downing JLF who in 2 games has shot (10-25 FG / 4-12 fg)? Make it make sense. JFL (5-10 fg / 3-6 3fg) had a solid bounce back game vs Denver while Gradey (2-9 fg / 0-5 3fg) continued his cold streak before twisting his ankle right before halftime. With GD on the court the Raps were losing to Denver. Once GD sat out the second half the Raps came back to beat Denver with JFL leading the charge.

AO, the only starter in the (plus), means he is playing D, w/o stellar offensive numbers. Liberty is a (D-League Darling), he does well with this level of talent, but struggles in the bigs. its a good year to tank for raptors. one can say the blazers are better than the raptors. they have deni avdila, jerami grant, robert williams back, ayton and rupert. to me the blazers likely have a better defence than raptors. the blazers also have scoot, sharpe, clingan and simons. blazers actually have guys that can take players off the dribble and create their own shot.

Gradey shot (2-9 fg / 0-5 3fg) vs Denver before twisting his ankle right before halftime. JFL (5-10 fg / 3-6 3fg) even bounced back from a bad shooting night in game one. I mean all the rookies were making 3fgs against Denver like Shead (2-2), Walter (2-6), Battle (3-5), Chomche (1-1), Carlson (1-4) - but Gradey can't make one? He's more hype as a shooter than being a natural shooter. He's a very streaky shooter. The Raps were losing with GD on the court but they won when GD had to miss the 2nd half due to injury. The Raps are once again wasting a roster spot on Garrett Temple, a guard when the Raps are loaded at guard, instead of potentially having Braden Carlson on a standard contract and signing a player like Jamison Battle to a two way contract.

Garrett Temple is basically a player-coach. He is getting paid vet minimum player salary instead of a much lower assistant coaches salary. Many of the players, including Scottie, have praised Garrett's help in their professional development. This young Raptors team needs that right now. If Toronto didn't sign him, I'm sure that there would be other teams in development that would have added him. I think after this year he retires and Garrett Temple will be an assistant coach somewhere.
