when I accepted the Lord, I held off telling my Hindu parents the truth for about 4 months. I didn't want to disappoint them, but my choice was made. I would rather disappoint them than disappoint my Lord. I heard the worst things a parent would say to their kid. "you might as well throw yourself under a bus..." and I broke down. I was annihilated by the reaction of the people I loved the most. At that moment in my darkness, I opened my bible and it landed on Psalm 27. "When my father and my mother forsake me, then the Lord will take me in". After reading it I simply cried myself dry. I could not believe hoe my Lord loved me so much. He never left me and I had his embrace in my worst pain. I have only love for my parents. And after years of negativity from them, they are now slowly coming back in my life. I just want to say that I am loved. I am loved by you Lord! I am so loved that you gave me the most wonderful gift of a loving wife and beautiful kids. My life will always be for Jesus and to Jesus! Thank you, Lord!

Thats awesome. On June 9th 2021 I will have 7 years clean and sober. Im free. Jesus set me free from the chains of addiction. I asked him to heal me and he did. I have not struggled at all. Its as if I was never addicted. And I struggled with it most of my life. I started drinking and smoking weed when I was 11 years old. Then when I was 22 I started using meth. That drug is evil. Although they all are. But that was what took me down. I lost so much because of that drug. Anyway, its all a thing of the past for me. Im rid of it all. God is so faithful and good. For 40 years I led a life of drugs, sexual debauchery, thieving, lying, just immoral through and through. Soon after my Grandma's passing I went back to church, the Catholic Church, for a year and a half I sat and felt nothing, I needed something, and saw a video and decided to buy my first Bible, and in it, I found salvation through the love of Jesus Christ, then I found me a Church that was alive, I could feel the love I knew the Lord was there waiting for me, I surrendered to the Lord on January 13 2019, and was Baptized 7/28/2019. And while I'm still a sinner through and through I know I am saved cause I have been cleansed with the blood of Jesus Christ.

I feel the presence of our Lord, Jesus, in this song. I remember a year ago December 23rd I went to Victory church in Boca Raton, FL to get baptized from being Catholic previously. While I was singing worship with my brothers and sisters, I was filled with the holy spirit for the first time in my life and tears of joy came down non-stop. I did not understand what was happening? Yet, I knew it was the most amazing, beautiful feeling of pure love and happiness.

While I find that quote very fine and tame, I used to listen to Alan Watts for ten years, and I would suggest you turn away from him. Meditation will not ease your suffering, and new age practices that Alan teaches are meaningless and empty, I know this from experience, Love comes from God. I used to be one of Alan's number one fans, after so many years of seeing how these meditation practices didn't help me, if anything made me more lost, I can say that I have come back to truth that is centered on God and God's love, and Jesus is the ultimate savior of humanity when we really don't know what kind of pointless things we are creating when we don't involve God. I felt obligated to mention that. If people want Truth, God will answer all your questions and solve all your problems related to meaning in your life, no one else can do that, especially not Alan Watts.

if we/I confess my/our sin(s) one to another he is faithful to forgive me & cleanse me/us from it (all unrighteousness😘) it’s like throwing out the trash & then taking in his presence/goodness like in this song…it’s not always easy but it’s better than the alternative. I friend of my sons died by suffocation throw up from alcohol:/ I get it, we could all be dead if it weren’t for Jesus. It’s tuff but you can do it cause Jesus will help you… he SAID in John 17 In his prayer to the father: “I pray not that you tk them out of the world, but that you deliver them from the evil one. Every time i confess; I am forgiven (the devil hates it) it gives me freedom. Every time No matter how many times. When im in a situation or are under stress/attack, I pull…on Jesus/God ask (it’s usually in desperation & I don’t know what to do: “Show me the table” Where is the table? “what does love do, show me what does love do?” The Lords prayer says, He sets a table before us in the presence of our enemies When there’s an enemy there’s a table! Jesus gives an answer every time & my enemies back off. I was taught: When …..comes pushing & shoving (whatever your situation…fill in the blanks…) bow before the king cause he’ll help you! (Scripture verse: I submit to God, I resist the devil & he must flee) This song is precious!
