I think it’s so great you’re gaining confidence in dropping series that don’t work for you-that’s nothing to be ashamed of, in fact it’s great!!! And I added more manga to my TBR! 😂😅 Hopefully my library will open back up in summer like they said (they closed due to a burst frozen pipe back in January) so I can go back to trying more manga!

Ahhh I’m so glad you seem to enjoy “I want to end this love game” so far! It definitely does feel more down to earth. The paying thing is definitely the reason I’ve neglected to buy for series I still enjoy especially with Viz increasing the prices this year.😔Also I just binged all of “Last Game” and the love triangle issue that I thought was gonna be a thing worried me as well, but I’m so glad it seems to be going in a good direction such a fun read!❤

You should never feel bad about dropping a series. We all love different things and we don’t need to be cookie cutters of eachother. I have plenty of series that I’ve liked and dropped because I didn’t LOVE it. I have so much manga I want to re-read AND there’s manga I want to try coming out all the time. If anyone gives you grief for dropping a manga or skipping picking up one, I’ll shush them away.

Tsubaki Chou Lonely Planet is one of my favorites by one of my favorite mangakas. I'm kinda picky of age gap romance stories, but I love this manga. I'm looking forward to the next volume. I've been interested in Gazing at the Star Next Door. If you like it, then I might give it a try. You got me interested in I Want to End this Love Game. This week, I dropped a manhwa. A goal of mine is to find one I like. When I was in Books-a-Million, I saw True Beauty in the Bargin Price section for about $6. It was too good for me to pass up, so I bought it. I read it, and it was okay. I didn't love it, but I liked it enough to buy the next volume until I was near the end. Something happened that I'm not okay with, so I dropped it. Update: I found a manhwa, My Gently Raised Beast, at the bookstore. I browsed through it. I liked it enough to give it a chance. Now, I like it enough to keep going, so I achieved this one goal.

I enjoyed Sakura Saku vol 2. The story is pretty simple, but the interactions between the two were really cute. It’s not a top read, but a decent one.

YES! I second this!! I was just telling a friend the other day that I thought their relationship super interesting too!! I am SO happy you enjoyed Sakura Saku volume two! I'm still super bummed I didn't super love it, but maybe I need to admit to myself that its not a new favorite, but that it IS a decent read. Maybe that's why I'm struggling because all her other series were instant loves that are in my favorites, but this one isn't sadly.
