You should definitely try some SA/DSA/XDA keycaps to get more thoccs! Also, for a budget, AKKO CS Matchas and Rose Reds helps with the thoccs too. I'm also a newb with the hobby and still experimenting. Overall, you did great! Imma sub.

honestly, would have stuck with the milky yellows, much thoccier. also a clipping and a bandaid mod on the stabs would make a deeper sound, as well as a much thicker lube for the wires. lubing the stems of the stabs would be good to. dont know too much about foam but that did a good job of less hollowness. but overall really well done for a first time!

Try taping the back of the pcb, few layers. I use masking tape 2 layers, it adds some thocc to it. Using RK71.

You should try to lube the contact points of the stabs, suggest watching Taeha’s video on stabs

I did the same thing with EVA foam. Although I advise to cut it in divided parts rather than just sticking it there to make it look more flush. Mine looked like it came from the factory.

Try the Jelly Epoch mod in between the pcb and plate. Really good at making cheap boards sound better.

are stock brown switches pre-lubed or not? I'm still starting on modding and knowing the difference on the sound of an unlubed and lubed switch is. I get scraed since I might overlube them if they are in fact pre-lubed :

hi! i received the switches and stabilizers with a really tiny bit of stock lube (oily consistency). i'd say lube it since it's also good practice! but if you're planning to replace the switches soon and wanna save your lube, then maybe no need. since they're tactiles just apply thin layers bit by bit and adjust accordingly to avoid them getting mushy. hope it helps!

get some new keycaps for it because the stock keycaps of rk are just thin ABS, it wont produced thoccs. got some matcha XDA, lubed, taped, pe foam mod and boy it sounds awesome

where did u buy that super lube u used on your springs? i do have lam ang for less than a week, i clipped the stabs for thocc and even ends and taped the wires and stabs hahah idk what am i doing but it helps. I'm also a newbie in this one soooo ^_^

how many mm is that foam that u have placed in the base of the shell? will 10 mm fit?
