STILL not even in her 30s, Yalancia Rosario is pregnant for the ninth time. Yalancia and her husband Michael, from Dallas, Texas, are proud parents to eight boys Jamel, 12, Michael Jr, nine, Angelo, eight, Armani, six, Prince, five, Sincere, three, Armani, one and Gimani, five months (their fourth son was sadly stillborn). Now expecting for the ninth time, if Michael had his way the couple would have 20 kids. But while Yalancia loves having a large family, she hates being pregnant. Yalancia has got into a routine of setting the boys’ outfits the day before and bulk meal prepping. In spite of their large family, she says she only shops for groceries once a week, spending around $400. The family, who have a large social media presence, have met with their fair share of criticism with people telling the parents to be more responsible and assuming they are on benefits. They want to show that more siblings equals more love. In this episode, the family will find out the baby’s gender and Yalancia is betting on blue again.

It doesn’t matter how many children a woman bares, if she’s capable of caring for all of them well and provides a loving home then blessings to her. She has way more patience then I can every acquire in my lifetime.
@mrod8578

Having 9 children actually used to be quite common back in the day. You'll be surprised. Our ancestors had the ability to raise many children (which would imply we could be capable of it too with the right upbringing). It's only in very recent history that people only have 1 to 2 children per household. People today actually underestimate what they are capable of.
@wildreed21
@wildreed21 2 жыл бұрын
@@mrod8578 They were forced to have those kids because they were more workers. Meanwhile, the white masters had just 2, if any. The fact that our forbearers did something is not an indication that we should do it as well. Being capable of birthing 8 kids doesn't mean you should. Especially if you aren't rich enough to support them financially in a way that isn't struggling.
@krabby-patty

The only problem with having a lot of children is if you can't care for them all adequately, can't give them enough attention or love or if you don't have the space/time/money for them all. This mom and dad seem like they're doing a great job though, so props to them 👍 However I do think the reason they keep having kids is so they can have a girl, and I really think they should appreciate the beautiful boys they already have. But hey, live and let live
@mrod8578

@@wildreed21 Not true. From tribal days thousands of years ago up to agricultural periods people tended to have large families. I come from the Californios. My ancestors averaged around 12 children per household all the way back to the 18th and 19th centuries (they also had Spanish land grants as soldiers and ranchers up through the transition after the Mexican-American war). It is only due to modernity and the rise of technology that having lots of children is not being promoted. The "white masters" had nothing to do with my ancestral line having kids. They believed in large families. European and American whites had large families as well. I don't know where you got that nonsense from. Passing on your genes (survival and reproduction) is the main goal of any species. Learn some Evolutionary psychology and biology for crying out loud instead of this woke nonsense.

If I couldn't get pregnant, then I would adopt but it is my first choice? No. I can't explain why. It probably has something to do with instinct much like how animals in the wild almost never accept young that are not their own. We are animals and by instinct we want to pass down our DNA. It's not hard to stay in shape after giving birth, you just have to want to stay fit. Pregnant women who use having kids as an excuse to gain 50+ pounds are usually too lazy to prioritize their fitness. And I know having kids makes someone a lot busier but there are still ways to get back into shape after giving birth - you just have to wait it badly enough and not use pregnancy as a justification to have a BMI that falls into the obese category

@@countessofmontecristo3849 I'm not a male, I just named myself after The Weeknd here (Abel Tesfaye) bc he's my favorite singer. I'm a woman that has had a major hip operation when I was 12 years old which required screws to be put in my hip. Thus, my right leg started to grow slower than my left side and so I had a 2 inch leg discrepancy for over a decade of my life. This discrepancy also caused a world of back issues including scoliosis and 2 herniated discs. I live in constant pain and even had a total hip replacement surgery when I was 25 years old in 2018 because the screws in my hip began to mesh/deteriorate into the bone. Now, that same hip replacement I had in 2018 is showing signs of early loosening and makes it almost impossible to even walk a lot of the time. I've had every excuse in the world to give up on my fitness yet I ran a marathon, was doing constant long distance runs and I still workout several times a week where I often walk at least 4-6 miles a day AND engage in other cardio at the gym. It's extremely painful and several doctors have told me that I have the body of a 70+ year old woman. However, I don't complain. What I've gone through is literally lifetimes worse than giving birth which has been told to me by several doctors and orthopedic specialists. My condition is so rare that it's seen in less than 10% of people yet I implement fitness and calorie counting and even lost over 50lbs at one point. This is proof that if you really want to, you can always loose weight! Plus, weight loss is 90% diet anyways so even if you have a medical condition that stops you from working out, you can still loose weight. I don't live my life pretending to be a victim and I take responsibility for my life and my body because we only get one. No need to defend pregnant women - who are often medically cleared to workout almost right through the pregnancy- because they gain Iverson 50/60 lbs due to a 7 pound baby. Stop making excuses and start taking accountability.

My parents being black and in a carribean country all my mom had to say was she was going to give us lashes. @@_am.ber_ Same here but my other relatives weren't helpful. They helped long enough for the cremation but after that EVERYTHING fell on me. I grew up as an only child but I have one sibling. We're half-siblings technically; same dad, different moms, they're older and I wasn't even allowed to meet him until I turned 18 b/c of beef our father had with my brother years prior, when I was little (too long of a story to go into detail about 😒). My brother did the best he could to help by making a little bit of room at his place for storage of things that were non-replaceable: photo albums, some clothing, some handmade stuff, etc.

My husband and i have been married 21 years and have 8 kids. We always wanted a big family. However, we spend about $600 a week on groceries because our oldest 4 boys are between 19 and 14 so they eat a TON! We buy a whole cow and a few dozen chickens from a farmer down the road once a year and all our eggs from the farm next door for a dollar for 2 dozen to cut on costs. All of our kids want to have at least 4 or more because they love having someone to always play/hang around with. All our cousins have 6-9 kids so they are close with their second cousins. This is how a large family should be! Everyone helps out but the younger kids aren't being taken care of by the older ones... *cough* Duggar *cough* Quiverfull families *cough* And the health of Mom and baby is priority, not "creating an army for Christ". I wish this family nothing but the best.

Exactly! Requiring older children to take care of younger siblings can cause lifelong resentments, & secret abuse of the younger children.

The family has this calm amazing energy. It's not what I would want for me, but I wish the family the best in life! They are from big families, so I get it. I came from a small family, and this situation would drive me crazy. They seem like a very happy couple, and I'm happy for the life they have.
