hi, i just found your page and i love it. i am in HA recovery and been going at it for 3 months now. i have come a long way but i know i still have a long way to go. i just went to the doctors yesteday and they are talking about giving me medicine to induce a period and i do not want that at all, i rather get one naturally by letting my body do its thing and just being patient. so thank you for reassuring me that it is possible to get it on my own!

I’m also 164cm . All my life was 41-45 kilos (without dieting and exercising) . I started eating healthily and exercising and I lost my period for 2 years. I finally managed to get my period back at 56kgs . I’m heavier than ever before. Is it normal this weight gain or I overshot?

Hello! I am weight-restored but still struggle with a normal cycle. Sometimes they last 16 days while other times 40 days. I know its normal to have longer-lasting cycles after recovering from HA, but are shorter cycles normal? Is this something that could be more related to PCOS? Thanks so much:)

Good question. Shorter cycles are less related to PCOS than longer ones BUT it does sound like you might be not ovulating.

Hi! I'm 30 years old,5"2' 75kg, I desperately need to lose weight. So I'm trying to get in a deficit and seeing results but I'm seeing that my cycles are getting irregular for the past couple months. I don't know if you've ever answered this question, but how do I prevent HA while trying to lose weight healthily?

i would focus on high protein moderate fats and carbs. Make sure to eat the first hour of waking. Focus protein as the day goes. Stop eat after 8pm but if you’re hungry just eat

Ummmm who only had to gain ten pounds? I had to gain 40. Most women have to gain quite a bit!
