@@tincredible maybe you are completely right but when I come across people that are not sincere it’s hard for me to connect with them. It was hard for me to see where she was coming from due to her being more focused on pleasing the crowd.

Respectfully, you seem like the type who'd get madder at a recent r*pe victim for punching a dent in the wall than you'd get at the actual r*pist for driving the victim to that point. Whenever someone takes issue with the attitude of a person who didn't have a good parent, I always implore them to consider the possibility that whatever they deem to be a character flaw within that person probably wouldn't be there had that person had guidance and teaching from a loving father. Also, these shows are produced and directed by an entire staff (right down to the audience's reactions), so guests are often given cues on how to interact with the audience on shows like these.

This my friends is a classic example of insecure attachment between father and child. Even when he occasionally feels generous to help her monetarily, she can never truly know if she can trust him. She will always second guess if she should love him back. And to top it off, there is the added fact that he seems to be sexually deviant. Although she may seem “dramatic” or “ungrateful she got money at all”, she has every right to feel the way she does. If he had worked hard to connect with her and stay in her life, I’m sure she wouldn’t care if he never gave her another penny.

Sis heal.. We have to normalize walking smooth out of people's lives who are emotionally and verbally abusive regardless of the relationship. I cut my parents from my life for this very reason and I'm thriving. It can be done.

What's worse than a young fool but an old fool. He is a lustful, creepy, old man. I'm even uncomfortable just watching him. He wants to be the fox in the hen house, thinking saying a few pimp words all will be forgiven. Does not work that way. You spent years tearing her down, it will take some time to rebuild. Sidenote: who was the woman the camera kept going to? Was that her mother?
