Thank you for your kind words! Letting go of unhealthy relationships and focusing on self-care can be transformative. Life feels lighter when we prioritize our well-being and find joy in the little things. It's a beautiful way to live. 🌿✨

I'm 66 and I don't hate people per se, but I do have a small circle of friends that get together from time to time. However, I've noticed that people have become more crass, ill mannered, lacking empathy/decorum and just overall not very nice. So I try to avoid mixing with the general public as much as I can.

I am 81. I do not like idle meaningless talk. I prefer being on my own, shopping etc. I do get lonely sometimes, also when I need someone to help, they have an excuse. So now I do not socialise much. Happy in many ways.

Small gatherings with a small, intimate group of trustworthy and like minded individuals every once in a while is a gift. Thank you, God bless, Amen I agree completely. ✝️ ✨️ 🙏 🕊

This is true. I found some life long friends, took license, and would inflict insults, and perhaps because I changed, the connections withered. I agree that small gatherings are good. My church is good for that ; coffee time after the service is nice and singing in the choir is nice.

@SIERRATREES That is a good place to be if you are accepted and comfortable. Peace, joy, and abundant blessings!

Quietness has definitely made me wiser. I am a student again, basically, and I love it.

I concur. I am one year younger. In the GRAIL MESSAGE, Volume 3, there is a Chapter titled TEMPERAMENT. Ours, is a natural Fourth. Please check it out.

That's wisdom. I lost my accepting wife to MS in 2022. I was her carer for 26 years. I am almost 78 and lost many friendships during my years as her carer. The most important lesson I have learned is leaving and rejecting the church. I was an ordained Pastor years ago. But I found I was never welcome there, because I am gay and that was medically proven. I don't have a boyfriend. At my age I am too old to find true love and that is OK. I have learned to just enjoy being alone with my own company.

Well, all are very wise and encouraging advice and optimistic to be sure. However in reality, it's always easy said than done; particularly when we reach our frail seniors age though 🙄 Nevertheless, thank GOD Almighty 🛐 Whom we can rely on completely; for His Grace and Strength 💟...and trust Him to watch over us, to protect and sustain us through all things and circumstances. Amen 😇
