Big tip for anyone wanting to play Vintage Story- Either play with a large group or expect everything to take weeks or months of gameplay. A lot of the game is menial repetitive tasks and prospecting for ore deposits. It’s really fun though with a group, more manpower is very helpful. Also make sure to look up guides because the game is very complicated at times. …. and expect to be absolutely torn apart by wolves, bears, drifters and locusts… Especially since combat in this game is really bad currently.

Haha, yeah, so true :D Once, I played with a group of 16 people on a server, and maaaan, the speed of resource grinding skyrocketed and in no time we had a ton of everything. Too bad you still have to wait a lot to get your charcoal, clay forms, iron, steel etc.

@@the_origame 16? Man there were only 5 of us- Seems like it’d be a ton of fun with a larger coordinated group though. Did you hear about the 1.19 update? Apparently they’re working to have a framework where servers can support hundreds of players. Maybe someday down the line we’ll have large servers with towns and people specializing in different jobs.

Is that a steel anvil at the endd? I was under the impression that it's not craftable, did you add it through creative mode?

yep, that's a steel one. I definitely got it from the creative mode, but never actually thought about crafting it xD
