It’s also possible that she isn’t explicitly mtf trans and prefers to be more androgynous/fluid/non-binary. I also know there are some lesser known cases as well where guys prefer to appear fully feminine to the point of taking hormones but will still consider themselves male.

Not gonna lie, this is really sad. For example, you can't tell someone they're a cat, right? Even if they want to be one. They can never be a cat. I love this boy, but this is not who he is, because in order to keep up this appearance he has to not speak or he has to change his voice to keep up a facade. I don't think it's sexist, it's just an objectively incorrect label in this case. A cross dresser/drag queen would be someone who maintains their cisgender identity and presentation, and when they do present as the opposite gender it's done in a way with wigs, prosthetics, and things that can easily be removed at times when they no longer wish to present as that gender. This gal is trans, not a cross dresser.

@@DSS712 ik that’s why I see the term cross dresser as outdated and sexist, also this is my opinion it’s not right or wrong. clothing doesn’t have genders anyone can wear what they what obviously some clothing does have to s*x of there consumers bodies needed like underwear, jeans, top because men and women scientifically have different body structures. But any one can wear anything u don’t have to do label or put yourself in a box because it’s the only way society will understand. It’s typically men who use the term which shows of the fragile masculinity both men and women have created for men’s standards of manliness. U can wear a skirt and have long hair and just be you u don’t have to be a cross dresser. Cross dressing and drag are quite different with drag being a form of art in ways. I personally just think it’s 2024 why are the progressive people on earth crushing what the last 200 years of people have spent fighting for so u can be you and not keep labelling yourself into a tiny box, you can just be u. Also u don’t need to say cis gender a women is a women a trans women is a trans women a man is a man a trans man is a trans man. just wired and kinda disrespectful women and men don’t like that typically used when women spent years fighting to be seen just for parts of the trans community to call them something that’s a Scientific term and not what they have been called for hundreds of years . Still all my opinion take it lightly coming from a trans myself. 😊

@@Obei-269 Not all clothing is gendered, but a lot of it absolutely is. Gendered clothing/presentation exists in nearly every early human civilization. It doesn't mean an article of clothing "has a gender," it means that an article of clothing is used to indicate to others what gender a person has within the social constructs of a given culture. Gender is a social construct, and the main way we determine what someone's gender is though presentation. It's not sexist to say certain presentations/clothing is gendered, and it isn't sexist to say that someone chooses to sometimes dress up in alternative personas that happen to code them as a different gender. It IS sexist to harass/hurt someone for what they choose to wear or how they choose to present. Be careful not to accidentally equate a given identity label with the prejudice that certain bigots have about that label.
