HEEEEEEEEEY!!! You gave me a shout out! Yes it was Minghao and Jun (the member before him) who did the pair dance that you asked about! Glad you remembered that! This does seem like a fairly decent beginner guide to the group, I only wish that it had shown more dedicated clips for the Performance Unit's dancing, because they only took the parts of the performances where they were singing as well. I guess to be more efficient and save time, but because of this you didn't really get to see how phenomenal they are, and it also resulted in them undercutting Jun's vocal talent, because in that same video they took a clip from (Lilili Yabbay or 13th month's dance in Korean) Jun hits a stunning falsetto but he's not really dancing so they didn't use it. Basically, this is a good guide but keep in mind that it was trying to be efficient so it didn't show the true breadth of any of the boys' talents. That just means you have a lot more to look forward to discovering!

this was a good intro for them but it doesn’t really do them justice. the “a guide to seventeen: the movie” really is the best guide i’ve seen for them. it’s long af but i guess that’s a given considering theres 13 members lmao. if you end up reacting to it, you could split it into parts so it doesn’t seem as long.

Everyone chanting “Seungkwan Sexy” was definitely one of the highlights of my concert 😭 which I miss so much. I would recommend “a guide to seventeen the movie” because it goes more in depth basically into the members. Its super long but it’s long because of how much information it contains and I know that you will definitely enjoy it despite the length. I love them so much I don’t even know how to put it into words like you have barely scratched the surface of how amazing and good they are musically and as people which is saying something.

Actually, if u want to know their personality more, u can watch their documentary series in their official KZbin channel called HIT THE ROAD. They're not too long, but its a pretty good video if u want to know them more and know their journey, how they can be like this now. And I also think that the documentary definitely shows more what u don't know about KPop industry in general..... Thanks for this vids btw, love ur reaction!!!!!

Couple of extra things. They released an album since this guide, as well as a Japanese release, and have a mini album releasing this week on the 19th. They also have joke choreographies for most of their choreos(usually part switches) that they do amazing choreographies but get to do things like violently steal eachothers parts and poke fun at eachother.

ahhh, so happy more people know seventeen now. as i person who watch kpop for 20 years, i'd say seventeen is the best group overall, in the industry, they really are a complete package. i will not write an essay here about what i like about them, just, ...base on my observation, they are the first group bring the word 'choreography' to the front scene. I will just list out a few points of what i like about them: -brotherhood/team spirit, a lot of groups were formed by trainees who are somewhat rivals when they were training, but svt boys literally grew up together, cause pledis meant to make a 17-members boy group, basically you got in you were in debut group) -they produced their own songs/lyrics/dance, but they don't get to decide who sings what. still, i personally never worry about line distribution, cause you can see they take turns to be centers in dfifferent songs, it's just about who is suitable, not 'who is the most popular'. -and so from my observation, i think carat is the biggest fandom that stans OT-whatever number. for me also my bias are all 13 of them. oh my, just a few things it's already this long. yea, i literally can write 50 pages but i will stop. Lastly,, they bring me good-guality-happiness, not just funniness.

Trust me u wont regret staning this 13 precious and talented boys. They're really amazing. And even they hv 13 member but every member hv their own personality and ofc so talented. And so far svt is the group that never dissapointed like every song they release until now is masterpiece. Even the b-side track was so good. actually almost all the songs you listen to from this guide are just their b-side tracks😅 that's a sign that all their songs are really that good. I hope in the future you will do a listrning party album! 😆 i swear theres a lot good track that u hv to check out And also watch their dance practice too bcs this is one of the most satisfying vids on yt 😂 anyways everything about them just amazing. Despite what a lot seem to think now I still think the hard work that softjun put into the subpar guide to seventeen is the best guide I've seen for them personality wise but of course seventeen: the movie is absolutely perfect for their history and showing more talents. But I also really love the why you should stan seventeen section like a lot of new carats wont ever learn some of that stuff

I was never really a kpop enthusiast though I have some songs and groups I like. But to be honest the only ones I follow are Dreamcatcher, Seventeen and BTS. Seventeen produce so much content and make so much music that brings joy to people. I honestly think following their content is the best thing you can do for inner joy.

You should definitely check out Going Seventeen. It is hands down THE best variety show ever. This year’s season especially has had the best episodes, high end production and funniest scenes. Just some background info first, Going Seventeen was originally a behind-the-scenes vlog type series. But near the end of last year, they decided to turn Going Seventeen into a variety show and move the behind-the-scenes clip to another series called Inside Seventeen. So if you want to see the funnier episodes, I would recommend mid-to-late Going Seventeen 2019 and the whole of 2020 season. Also, you don’t have to watch them in order because GoSe is broken up by themes, and each theme is around 1-3 episodes long in length. So just start at whichever ones you think are interesting. A great resource you might want to also check out is r/seventeen. It’s a sub Reddit for Seventeen and they have a section for Carats, where you can check out all their variety shows, TV appearances, songs, summaries of Gose episodes etc.
