Use a clay bar kit (mothers) on the windshield after you get the van claened. It works for me all the time.

Not for EGR. Fuel and air code that has no impact on anything.

4 cylinder is a lot more economical if it's a deiesel. Some drivers get the gas models but I would avoid those.
