Enjoying your work is ultimately a choice that is often commensurate when compensation is “good”.

Sometimes u go in minus and still enjoy your work. Enjoying it only for compensation is not the enjoyment I'm talking about.

@@Eagle-Xpress yes indeed which is why enjoyment is ultimately a choice. 👍

I tell all my creditors to give me a break because I truly ENJOY expediting. They said enjoy it from the Eagle Express perspective and POV, cause we're hooking your "high-roof" tonight! Lol!

I LOVE expiditing!!!! My family is always asking me where I’m at and what I’m seeing. It’s not so lonely when you have “FaceTime”.

Yes, but sooner or later, you're going to need a ..."profit"??

Don't worry Dennis makes profit.

@@Eagle-Xpress Lol! Of course he does! My statement - Not specifically him, Dennis. More like a message? No, actually 'twas a generalization. A quip aimed at the total climate of the industry as a whole. You know how.....oh never mind.

Definitely don't need an "extended, one-ton, high-roof" for that load! Lol!

Yea not on this one. But there's plenty of times this workhorse has been full and made me plenty of money using the full length.
@williamrobinson6680Ай бұрын
That's an excellent point. Myself and your viewers would LOVE to know statistically, how many full ((LxWxH) capacity loads you book. This analysis of course to justify cost benefit investment into the very expensive high roof sprinter class category. I personally gave it a full 6 months test run. A 2018 ProMaster 3500 high roof, LWB. An abject failure. My average was once per month full capacity loaded. And in 6 months, never at weight payload capacity. My true, on the road, nuts and bolts comparison is, a cheapo, no payment, low insurance, 48" tall, shorty 3/4 ton cargo van. All that's needed. That's a true test. If I have a 66" tall load or a 9 pound box, I'll simply take the 9 lb box! Give the 66" tall load to the guy swimming in debt. He's going to need it! Lol! What I see in this business is a full capacity high roof sprinter is essential for back to back dedicated runs of 3 to 4 pallets at 4000 lbs. Every day. Even that is not a good business venture because the full capacity loads are devastating to the longevity of the vulnerable sprinter. Even some receiving departments comment, "I wish they would have just put this on a "truck". Or LTL flatbed." And I agree with them. But who wants to pay a "heavy-haul" driver $1.40 mi, when they can STUFF it into a sprinter for .70 -.90 cents mile? They love us!

Whats the monetary split between Eagle Express and owner operator? Love the video's and info! 🤙
@Eagle-XpressАй бұрын
There's no split. We don't take out percentages... Its not common in expediting. We just add on top of driver rate for dispatching.
