Hello everyone! In this week's video I am testing out the new Ohuhu Marker Pads! I also end up abandoning my old sketchbook because these new ones are SO COOL! I'm going to draw whatever the heck I want including an alcohol-based marker illustration, and some drawings of my fairy original characters.

Ooh both pages and the intro page are so pretty! I love the colours you chose and the happy mistake really worked out with the colours in the end! I feel like there must be a sketchbook art funk going around 🫠😂 im having difficulties pushing through my current sketchbook for similar reasons! Something I do when I don't feel motivated to draw in my sketchbook is adding interactive elements in it. I add things such as waterfall cards, pop up items, or just tape/glue random things. It isn't much but it does help when I don't feel like drawing. It does make the sketch book more chunky so if you prefer your sketchbook to be flat then I wouldn't recommend it.

I just ordered and got the spiral sketchbook! It's so cool that Ohuhu finally is doing this! Initially I bought a Crescent Rendr and liked using that, though the book is rather big so it pushes me away from making full blown illustrations, so I always longed for a smaller variant. I initially switched to the ohuhu marker pads (they're hardcover books and these ones come with a bleed through pad cause its not the same paper) and I LOVED it, I still do since the page makes inks go down so smoothly and it's given me the drive to draw more (so much I haven't been drawing digitally in a while. When I heard Ohuhu made this as well as fineliners people say are as good as microns, I knew I had to buy it. TLDR:Ohuhu solos so much. Amazing quality for a really good price. There's a reason Jazza called them the Poor Man's copic. This sketchbook alone is I think like $12? Which is like half what I paid for the Rendr book

I love everything! Just a thought I had, idk if this is helpful, but if you want Chip and Silva to both be serious but be different, something I like to lean into with my characters is like a nice serious versus a grumpy/colder serious. Like one can be very pleasant but still very serious, while the other can be a little colder and stoic kind of serious!

I have the normal Ohuhu sketchbook for a while now, I got a 72 markers set for christmas and really love it. The idea of having a sketchbook with no bleed through is amazing for many people. As for me, I'm totally fine with drawing on the other side of the page even though it bled through so I'm not really wasting the paper and I'm really happy with the art supplies😊 Maybe i would get that sketchpad some day but I have more than ¾ of the pages left so I think it will take a while 😂

As someone who loves alcohol markers this sketchbook looks amazing!! I personally have always had problems with Ohuhu marker sketchbooks cuz every time I use a yellow or certain browns they bleed through to the other page even though the markers have been dry for days. This sketchbook should fix that problem!! Also HAHA BEATUFUL THUMBNAIL
