Yes, please make a video for bulk selling/buying maps, especially 8 mod maps and T17s. I have recently sold my 20 ziggurat maps for 120c each and I just realized that i could have sold them for more. Also thank you for the alternative lacerate build, this is the first time I have been able to get out of my "freezing pulse totem shell" and try another build for the first time in 4 years ❤

A good place to start for bulk selling anything: Use Awakened PoE and make sure you select a high "Stock" count. That'll show prices from people who have a lot of stock of the thing they're selling, so you'll be able to get more accurate bulk prices. Then just remember the first few are always price fixers, and pay attention to when prices start to "even out." As that's likely the real bulk price. Wealthy Exile is also an option now days, it works like the trade site but for bulk stuff the trade site doesn't do (and for % prices based on market value, rather than you selecting a specific price.)

pretty easy way to maximize your t17 sell price is just list the t17 public at 2 div and every couple maps put just one chaos on each of the maps , some people have perma running live search for specific regex for t17's and i made like 300 div extra this way so far (also if you get insta like 15 messages just put /dnd and check the map cuz some of them sell for even 4+ div)

So I tried this set up and I was doing really well and it progressively ramped up. I hit a higher chance to loot Divines with an eldritch altar and got 16 divines in one single map with two puzzle boxes. That's never happened to me before, I still can't believe it.

I've been blasting strongboxes for the first time this league, having a blast too. Twist of fate + vaal temples is sooo fun with this. I love alva so added that instead of some of the beyond and +map tier. I leave out the 8-mod scarab for a 15% reopen chance (it feels higher?) and run another strat to generate the 8-mod maps

So I tried this out a bit and I gotta say, it seems like the Beyond doesn't do much. Like 90% of our profit and gold is coming from the strongboxes. It's good but the beyond doesn't feel like it adds anything edit: in fact I tried dropping the beyond and just doing cartography and you still net roughly the same gold (and I am able to clear about 2x as fast because no beyond mobs)

I'd personally drop one of the ambush scarabs for the deli scarab that says "maps drop with layers of delirium." I farm all my 8 mod maps with layers of deli.

The issue is you don't want more than 1 layer for most builds, so you brick some maps.

I may be wrong, and I'm sure you know way more about this game than I do, but when I had singular focus (different atlas) I was not getting any T17 drops at all. I looked online and saw others saying it prevents t17s. Took the point out and started getting a decent flow of them. So yeah, it's wise to avoid that point for sure. Even if it only reduces it, it must reduce it but quite a large amount.

Correct, you should not use singular focus. It reduces the dropped T17s by 24% or so.

Yes, because behind the scenes the game still calculates when you would've dropped a map lower than t16, and that contributes "points" until you hit a cap, dropping a t16 when you otherwise wouldn't have

How to counter with -'monster have 300+% critical chance' and -monster have #% physical to elemental damage' in map mod. I always get one shot by them. I have 4k hp and all elemental resistance capped at 78%

The defense you have listed is the basics for roughly late white maps. You need much,much more for juiced red or purple maps. Crit immunity, spell suppression, evasion, armour, damage taken as, etc. Many layered defenses are mandatory for modern end game Poe.

This was my atlas for a bit. Dropped beyond and just added more modifier bonuses and blocked a few mechanics. The beyond mobs arent profitable. Im convinced the beyond mobs dont count as packs for the map. I don't focus maps though. Just massive SB's rarity scarab and deli my map for divine. I clear 7-9div an hour.

Farm-newbie question here; I thought the big Quant circle in the middle with its little brother inside would be more or less mandatory for strats like this. Is there a rule of thumb on when to take those nodes? And just to throw out a guess, are you not taking them here because Altars tend to have quant as one of the upsides?

No, but that's why he explained that the roll for T16s to become T17's comes after the tier is decided, so the more you have being upgraded to T16s, the more chances you have for T17s.

Without the operator strongbox (scarab one?) it's not the same for me. I always start with this but quickly found that "revives with onslaught" is an instakill after you open the box a few times or even nearby boxes. The screen just freezes for a second and it's over.

At the highest tier of disenchanting you can disenchant uniques and the amount of dust they give at base depends on their rarity, some uniques only have worth because they give a lot of dust. (Also you can quality items to get more dust, once you unlock that of course, only worth it on armour and weapons though)

Kinda weird, I ran 20 8-mod strands and gave this box variant a shot and went negative entirely, and saw no div or valdo's and maybe got 1-2 t16 mans per run and 2 fortress. RNG?

20 maps and not getting a single divine, valdos, and only two T17s is incredibly bad luck. Make sure you don't have singular focus and that you have all your voidstones.

Fortress by far. Just toss in random ambush scarabs, take strongboxes, scarabs, shrines, and map modifier on the atlas tree, roll it with some chaos to avoid scary mods, make sure to chisel. Boss stays in one place and all you gotta do is dodge some lasers and flame dash/blink/leap slam out of his slam.

why would it brick the map? just dont click on ones that you can't do. build choice is very important here but if you can't click on red or blue altars there are likely things you can do in that regard to have a stronger build.

@@subtractem I usually get by the skin of my teeth on these maps 16 and 17 so like all of em but like 2 are usally are pretty rippy for this noob hehe. the double downside node i realized i can skip though so makes it a bit better for the rips. I think like Sap and no crit strikes is about the only ones that don't make things harder so idk i skip the mechanic most of the time to try to level past level 96 one day hehe :)

Things are definitely much spikier than they used to be. I'm pretty spoiled this league with Gladiator defenses. Been struggling to make another build that feels as good as that one. Honestly just recommend trying that out if you're having an issue in regular T16s.
