I'M AGGRAVATED! BUT A CHICKEN PIE COUNTRY SUPPER CAN FIX IT!

Chicken Pie:
Chicken cooked and Shredded
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 & 1/2 soup cans of chicken Broth
1 cup self rising flour
1 cup buttermilk
1 stick butter melted
(Tip: if you use alot of chicken you may need to add another can of soup and broth)
Assemble per vidro instructions
Bake in a 350° preheated oven for 45 to 60 minutes until top is golden brown.

Have you ever rinse your green beans and then strain them ? We do this and put bacon grease in the pan get it really hot then put the beans in and a little sugar. We fry them and they are delicious!

I put my chicken in a kitchen aide mixer and it really shreds it. But I don’t want chunks. I put mayo in my cornbread and sweet and low. You are a great preachers wife. You can put out a spread.

Hi there, I don’t like shredded meat I usually cut my chicken or other meats in cubes. I love pinto beans . If you mash a few beans once they are cooked it will thicken up the broth. I usually add bacon grease to my green beans. I add salt & onion powder. I never tried brown sugar. I love fried cabbage. I add bacon grease & sugar,green pepper,onion, salt, red pepper flakes. I froze peaches last year. I fixed the peaches like I was going to make a pie or cobbler. So all I have to do is make my pie crust or biscuit dough. I love southern cooking. I use bacon grease in my cornbread & buttermilk. No sugar in my cornbread. Nothing better than a yummy southern country supper. Until next time.

I am sooooo in agreement with you about spending time with your family over doing dishes. When my granddaughter comes with her three babies (my great grandbabies), she always volunteers to do the dishes and I always tell her no, that I can do them after she leaves. I’m almost 78 and I tell her I need to get up and move more anyways and that it’s good for me to do the dishes, BUT at a later time. It’s usually that night and sometimes it’s the next day. My family is SO MUCH MORE important to me than dishes!!! 🇺🇸❤️🇺🇸

I used to always say that I would have plenty of time to keep a perfect house when the kids grew up so I didn't worry about it. And sure enough, the kids are gone and I have a clean house. I'd rather have those years back though. Take the time with your family. The dishes and the dusting will still be there, but they won't. Love to you.

In the last few years been putting sugar in green beans(especially canned from grocery store)after seeing a copy cat recipe of Cracker Barrel's green beans. Also, add bacon/bacon grease, onion, salt & pepper. It helps them not taste so much from a can. BTW, I live in Arkansas.

Hi Leslie. I was on Optavia also, but I also stopped losing. Someone else I know that was on it told me to try the reset diet by Harvey Pasterneck. You can get the book on Amazon. It will reset your metabolism so that you can start on that diet again or try something else. I was told you can lose at least 10 to15 pounds and it is for 3 weeks. I'm going to try Skinny Box after I do the reset diet as I was also told that it is even better tasting than Optavia, and i really liked Optavia, and it is half the price.

Hi Leslie... Just a suggestion... When I don't have fresh gr.beans I buy Wal-Mart's canned Great Value "whole green beans" not cut and then season them like you do. I just happen to like whole gr.beans ha ha ha I'm going to have to try your chicken pie. It looks delicious. Leslie I wish I had learned that lesson when I was a young wife and mother. Yes I worked but I thought I wasn't good enough if my house wasn't perfect and everything done in my house. I didnt even make time for myself but I did make sure to read to my girls at bedtime. Now my youngest married daughter (58) doesnt have children and is the same way about keeping her home spotless.I know that doesn't make any sense to some people but I just now at 77 learned too late. You are looking so pretty and have done well. I wish my youngest daughter would watch you . she reminds me a lot like you before you lost your weight. Mrs. Alma, my mom had crohn's disease also. She had to be careful what she ate most of the time especially when she ate dry beans and fresh green vegetables. She passed away in early January after a long battle the disease.

Leslie I always clean up the dinner dishes the next day because my hubby works all night and eats dinner after 10 pm and I got to say I ain’t as young as I used to be so … I agree if someone say they are going and at the last minute just cancel but not a good reason like they told the other side of family they would go with them so I got to say it is rude on so many levels but when they want to do something I am not available

I always do the two fork shredding for my chicken. Hate getting out my blender for just two breasts. Love watching you and your family and as a plus your cooking hints and recipes 😋. I agree with you on taking a day a week just to eat what you want. Intermittent fasting helps so much on making up that difference 🥰 That is when I do a pasta meal.
