Mr buckin billy ray has been a true inspiration . I was in a dark spot in life alot of bad stuff was going on I was alone , depressed and suicidal when I stumbled upon his channel. And I heard a message, " friends" he says that alot and I hope we can all be friends " and the words. " Be Kind" that was the night I realized through a KZbin video that I 2 was the problem if I wanted the world around me to get better I had to change my outlook and be kind , love one another....... that was over 2 months ago....

Buckin' your comment about liking people that weren't doing very well, but aspire to be better meant a lot to me. I love the positive messages in your show. I was a heroin addict pretty much all through my 20's. I'm 32 now and have been clean since 30 and I'm catching up with what I missed out on. Woodcrafting, shooting air rifles, (UK here) working, and just honestly aspiring to be the man I want to be, and the man I believe I was always meant to be. Thanks for sharing your story, I too have been bitten by the black dog. Two years ago I was in the deepest depths of a nervous breakdown and tried to take my own life. My son found me and called an ambulance and got me to hospital where I stayed for some time while I recovered from the overdose of antidepressants and whiskey. Today , thanks to my family I am getting better. I don't drink anymore but do take mild antidepressants. I wish I had your fantastic outlook on life, the sheer joy and gratitude for everything around you is a beautiful thing. Please don't ever let go of it.

I know the feeling Buckin I had a truck wreck on Nov. 15 2014 broke my back.I was in a state of depression for days. Then God spoke to me and said quite feeling sorry for your self and live. I woke up and realized I needed to work hard to get out of that bed . So I started working hard in therapy instead of the usual going through the motions. After 2 surgeries and weeks of hard work i was walking and now have a small machine shop in my garage. I had to retire but I am happy and a live. Hard way to learn living life is a joy. Living life and enjoying it more than ever. Friends learn how to love yourself.. If you don't love yourself how can you expect others to love you. GOD bless have a day
