I love her too because she is so relatable. She's the woman who's been hurt by love in the past and questions if she's even worthy of true love.

I personally love greek/roman mythology, and there are so many things in this movie that are completely different from the original stories... However, the movie (and the TV show!) are still super fun to me, so I just push all of that knowledge aside and sing along with the characters xD As usual, really enjoyed your reaction!

Well the more was more than just risking for love. The true more was a true hero is judged by the strength of his heart. Hercules was willing to sacrifice his life to save someone that's what made him a true hero and returned his immortality which he eventually give up to live a peaceful life with Meg. Meg and Hades are the best duo swaggers I've ever seen in a Disney movie.

Closest thing to a sequel is one episode of the Hercules animated tv show where it shows them moving into a house and her discovering his high school awkwardness. They had a sequel in development but the movie didn’t make as much money as they wanted so they scrapped the sequel. It was going to be about the Trojan War.

We are agree Hades is the best Disney villain 🤭 About doing crazy things by love, it reminds me a french movie (inspired by a real story) about a guy who tries in vain to seduce the girl he loves. He tells her that he would climb Everest for her but she doesn't take him seriously, so he decides to really do it for proving his love for her when he's never done mountaineering.

In true Disney fashion they glossed over some details. Hera is the wife of Zeus but Hercules, or Heracles in Roman mythos, is not the son of Hera. Zeus cheated on Hera with a mortal and that is why Hercules is a demigod. In the actual mythology Hera hates Hercules and tries to kill him on several occasions. Sorry for ruining so many childhoods.

In Greek mythology, Herakles is named for Hera, "Hera's disgrace." He was a demigod, Zeus' son but to a mortal woman and Hera hated him because Zeus cheated a lot. Hades was Zeus' brother and is probably better than every other god morally, because Zeus is the father of almost every hero in Greece. Herakles sold Megara is some versions, after he accidently killed their children thanks to Hera. Then Herakles married his half sister, Hebe, the actual child of Zeus and Hera.

You should really google Hercules story and his dad. It might even shock to see what he was all about. And that the mother in this Disney various isn't his real mother. Hera cursed wanted him dead. Hades really had nothing to do with him at all. As for Pegasus well he's the son the Madusa and the sea god or so the lore's go. Look it up on KZbin otherwise. I have watched quite a few videos on the Greek gods and the Grim's brothers too.
