If this show was rated by stars i would give Corner Booth with Bowser and Blue a gazillion. Quebec Anglos need more of this. Thank you Aaron Rand and Bill Brownstein. What's the real story behind Just for Laughs demise???

“Bonjour/hi” isn’t cute. It’s stupid. I wasn’t born and didn’t grow up in Montreal. The identity politics here, on either side and somewhat perpetuated by this podcast, is very strange to me. I’m going to continue to respond with “bonjour” even if English is the language I grew up speaking.

I agree but, bill 96 would not have never been applied anywhere else in Canada because the would be no use for it. It is exaggerated because no cell phone or computer have ever been seized for that purpose, so please, calm down., By the way, i am an an glophone, born and raised in Montreal.

French Canadians have always felt inferior to English Canadians. Language laws in Quebec are meant to correct what is percieved to be wrong.

No, I would say that people like you always felt superior to french Canadians, for whatever reason. What an awful thing to say!!!

The problem actually is that we don't still live in Canada here in Quebec. Bill 96, and many of its fascist provisions, would not exist anywhere else in Canada. Nowhere else in Canada would police be allowed to seize your phone or computer without a warrant to see if you sent an English e-mail. Nowhere else in Canada would a legislative session debate about whether Bonjour and Hi are both acceptable. And I could go on and on. Quebec has no need to separate, they get everything they want as is. All thanks to the notwithstanding clause, one of the most anti democratic measures to ever exist, and to spineless and gutless federal and provincial politicians who don't dare to push back. But I totally agree, there's no problem with the people in Montreal, it's a great city, it's the politicians exploiting fears for their own selfish purposes. On a more cheerful note, I loved seeing these guys many times years ago on Crescent, they even had their own place for a while at one time. They're still as good as ever.
