Interesting. I am 52 and just started painting impressionist lanscapes, something I always admired. I started one morning with a need to paint, which was very strange. I was not a creative person at all...or so I thought. But as God has me releasing so much of my life to him over the years he uncovered something that was dormant under all the layers. That's the beauty of a life given over the the Lord we become who went are truly meant to be free.

It's so fascinating how so many "art scholars" spend their while lives trying to interpret the meaning of art, maybe even dedicating themselves to one artist, and here we have an artists spending time doing just about the same thing with his own work from the past.

It's so interesting to me seeing and hearing stories of people GETTING schizophrenia. I don't know, I just can't imagine it. I was diagnosed with childhood schizophrenia at age 12, but I can't remember a time my symptoms didn't effect my life. I also have BPD and my "schizophrenia" is actually just schizophrenia-spectrum - I actually have STPD, though I have had psychotic breaks and experienced brief hallucinations. People ask me what it's like to have schizophrenia but I can't quite say. I don't know what it's like to NOT have schizophrenia. I'm so sorry you had to experience homelessness and the stress that comes with it. It's beautiful that you're sharing your story and want to spread joy and awareness to others. As an artist, I want to have an online presence. I want friends to share art with, but I don't know how. I'm so scared of people. I hate social interaction. And, I'm not really a great artist. But thank you for sharing. Hearing your story is very inspiring, I hope you're doing well. Your art is wonderful and your words really resonated with me. For some reason, I think of the poem The Strongest of the Strange by Bukowski. Thank you for sharing.

my uncle has schizophrenia and was an amazing artist. Sadly, he stopped because he said it brings him bad memories. Thank you for making this video to bring awareness. I'm glad you're still doing art :)

Does art improve your mood? I've been trying to rid myself of my story. It is being processed over and over till it's a fine powder. I am leery of telling people my revelations especially the ones I've formed from other's ideas. I have no children and I need to find someone to gift. I am willing to give free guitar lessons to but so far no one has taken me up on the offer.

I was diagnosed with schizophrenia. My situation is likely much more terrifying. Like I'm being tortured and tormented by arch-demons. Schizophrenia is linked to astral phenomenon and I don't have a doubt in my mind that is the case. That's likely why your drawings have an etheric quality to them. You're more connected to the astral. To be clear, I don't view the astral as a good thing. It's just another part of this prison matrix we all are in. Exelent art by the way. My situation has pretty much killed my creativity and drive, so at least you've go that going for you.
