Thanks for your videos. We were at a large super market in Seoul a few years ago, and were very surprised to see a spam section. We were with our Korean friends and they showed us around the store. We saw a whole aisle for Spam Gift Boxes. We don't eat much spam here in the U.S. at our house, however, while in S. Korea, Spam was served every morning as the Breakfast meat of choice. We enjoyed it with the whole family. I hope you do a video of this topic, because I believe most people around the world don't know how much Spam is part of the culture. Thanks again for your videos

I accidentally ate a kodari restaurant a couple of years ago! I was using Google maps to find a different restaurant, mistakenly entered the kodari place, and ended up eating there anyways. We didn't eat exactly how you demonstrated, but it was still good! I would love to see more of these videos, as there are a lot of Korean restaurants that look good but are also intimidating as I'm not sure what to order or the "proper" way to eat it.

It is always interesting when you show us parts of your life! I discovered seaweed months ago when Jeon Jung kook (BTS) often cooked in his Lives and he showed us how to use it too, it is so simple and tasty Korean supermarkets are more and more to find here, Sudjongoa is sold out for longer time, maybe they don‘t sell it so good, but I like Ginger and Cinnamon so I would like to taste it one day. We can order online at Olive Young and we have shops only selling Korean cosmetic too. But the Ice we can’t buy here, I‘m looking for chal-oksusu (찰옥수수) but didn‘t find it…Ghamsamnida and greetings to your sister…

Enjoyed the trip to the restaurant! I didn’t know that there were different kinds of kimchi - I can only get the red/cabbage/carrot type here. Also like seeing the stainless steel chopsticks- I learn something new every day.

Wonderful video, please ask your sister to come on camera many of us wish to know if there is a family resemblance. What i particularly enjoyed about the video is the restaurant and outside scenery looked exactly like a K-drama movie background….was nice to see that life does resemble the movies in that way. I love how it reminds me of simpler times, cannot wait till the day i come for a visit and see it all for myself. Cheers.

Hi AKM, I got your replies regarding the yellow tomato but haven't checked with my seed company yet. I will in the coming months and let you know. Thank you for answering by the way. I do have another question for you, actually two if you wouldn't mind answering please. Have spent a fair portion of my life studying the DPRK. They have a sort of dessert pie/snack that they copied off the South that is a very popular "junk food" item. Many people have actually been arrested for purchasing the South Korean version smuggled across the DMZ or thru China. I've forgotten the name of this product and it's driving me up a wall, would you by chance know what product I am speaking of? It's sort of like a "moon pie" that we have over here in the States if that helps. Also, have you ever met a defector?
@average_korean_manАй бұрын
I think you are talking about choco-pie No, I have not met a detector. It's not easy to meet a defector. There aren't many
