Eternal Knight's been my fave BGs card since it came out. It's the only Undead build that's actually fun to play, but it's so fun I don't need any others. Just watching the purply bois grow and grow is a delight.

It’s interesting that Kripp and many others, including me, hate beast builds - but love eternal summoner and specific undead builds. I wonder what it is about beast builds that make them so hated. Personally I think its that you don’t need to develop anything over the course of the game to succeed with beasts. You just need to get the rights cards and you’re instantly op. Eternal summoner builds are also a token build, so hating ‘token’ builds specifically is a little unfair

the Undying Legion build is slightly different in that you still need to scale it to work. You know, play the knights early so they can die and grow. The beast build is just scammy feeling. Get the pieces, throw them on the board, and presto instant winning build. No thought, no scaling, just scam. Undying legion is a bit scammy, but it doesn't work straight out of the box, and some work into scaling had to go into it. My opinion anyway. Besides, no tribe should be able to do token spam better than undead, that's kinda their schtick.

It's also absolute balls to put together. You need multiple t5 and t6 cards to make it work, beasts is good at every point whereas undead can have an absolute crapshoot mid and late game without some luck AND it takes some brains as to when to swap from scaling options to damage options. Also even kripp messed up the build by passing up on dreadstomper and keeping the golden divine shield one when having the extra token generation would've made a stronger board. Or he could've tripled the +2/+5 undead as getting +12/+30 in stats every turn is a big difference, and with a golden dreadstomper that makes it +18 instead

Well in this game he was struggling to finalize a build for awhile and while yeah spells are great spending that 3 gold on rolls to fish for build cards is probably the better idea.

It's for the first two hours then it because a really shallow, pointless slog. BGs has been nonstop fun since it dropped with constant new cards and mechanics and stuff. Mercenaries is a joke novelty mode that got cancelled.

@etherealg3940 Give it a chance, the thing I like, is no Luck in It It's the way u raise ur Minions (Mercs) and the combos u create.. Actually after a time while making strong Mercs.. and play really challenging PvE then Play vs others.. it is really how u built ur team n strategy, not waiting for luck to be on ur side to win ^^
