An ex-Jehovah's Witness who felt "shunned" by her church after her divorce believes leaving her congregation was the best decision she's made.
Ieva Brown, 41, joined the Jehovah's Witnesses - a Christian-based religious group - in 1996 at just 14 years old after attending a bible group in Latvia with a friend.
After moving to England in 1999, Ieva joined a local group before marrying a non-believer - who then converted. But a decade later their marriage broke down.

Good for you, for stepping out of the "Matrix", there is life outside the cult. We faded voluntarily after almost 50 years, best decision ever, we feel at peace, relieved and enjoy life more, we rekindled with old non jw friends who are there for us with open arms. Cheers!!

Congratulations on leaving a cold, sterile, loveless group of people who believe in controll of congregants. Those who don't know the meaning of "filial" love. Now move on. You have a multitude of genuine friends here with UNCONDITIONAL L❤ve for you. Those who will stand beside you. Those who will offer and give support in your darkest times as the former associates try to destroy you. Chin up, square those shoulders, chest out and look the world in the eyes. The evil of those black wolves in sheep's clothing have a lot to stone for.
