So true! I don’t watch makeup channels but how can you not watch her and not immediately think ‘I want to be friends with this woman! She’s NORMAL and fun!’. Same with Johnny Ross. I did watch one other channel, one video, and couldn’t get through it all. The gal was too high maintenance to stomach. Estrogen was pouring out of my iPad 😂😂😂. Yes, I’m a 52 yr old female married with kids but I didn’t even want to attend my own Baby Shower. It was for everyone, not just women, and was on a day that hockey playoffs were NOT on. Those were my conditions. 😂😂😂

I totally understand the joy you had for the "Night before Christmas" advent calendar. I buy an ink advent calendar from a company called diamine (because I'm a pen nerd) and the 24th colour was called One More Sleep. It was perfect, the name just made me smile.

@@camarice1867 Yep, it's by a British company called Diamine usually labelled as Inkvent. They've done it three years running, after the first two they put the colours out in larger bottles (they might with this too but it's usually later in the year). Mostly tiny little 12ml bottles (enough to fill a lamy converter a few times though) but with a 30ml bottle on the last day.

I couldn't figure out the fruit and it was bugging me 😄 Funny thing is I've had guava, but I've only seen guava cut length-wise so it has more of a pear shape, as opposed to cut across so it looks round, like in this video - apparently a difference in cut is all it takes to stop me from recognizing it 😆

I'm happy to see that Glossybox didn't let us down this year! Also, truffles definitely do NOT taste like garlic. I just don't want anyone to splurge on truffles thinking they're gonna get something nice and garlicky and end up with a mouthful of musky sour dirt (not a big fan of truffles, if you couldn't tell😅)

I immediately stopped the video when Alex mentioned the price and availability and went to purchase. I have been binge watching Alex’s videos but have never purchased one. When I purchased I didn’t even look at the info on the website for it, I just bought. It came out to $77 CAD and I am so excited! Going to wait until February 1 to start unboxing daily (if I receive by then). After that is complete I will continue to watch the video. Thanks Alex! The Verb is nice, it’s too thick to mist directly on the hair so I spray some in my hand with a pump of ghost oil. Then run through my hair. The spray gives conditioning and a nice smell and the ghost oil provides shine.

Glossy unboxing here is sooo much nicer than expected from preview. When it come to special editions- Glossybox nails it with packaging and products. That candle on 24th is a perfect example of the attention to details which makes Glossybox a step up. The Laritzy they feature has been a great brand skirting the radar too. Very nice advent calendar and even at the higher price, seeing it, it is nice. Thanks for sharing 🙂

I opened this box on my channel a month ago and loved it. I have been using the products since then and I am pleased with them. No bad skin reactions and I am very sensitive. I love the smell of the candle and I plan to keep the jar when I'm done burning it. I like the Milk perfume but my husband says its so sweet smelling it makes him sick. I do wish there was more makeup but I am happy with the palette at the end because I needed some contour powder. The brushes are good quality too. I kind of wish I bought two of these to be honest. I priced each item individually and put the price on my review if you are interested.

I agree as long as they start marketing them skin care and not makeup. If I pay for a makeup calendar I want makeup 😡 skincare feels like a cop out when it says makeup on the website/box

A lot of skin care products are for specific skin types or issues, so it's pretty much the same thing as makeup. There are makeup and skin care items that can be used by everyone. If a box is going to have mostly or entirely skin care, it needs to be marketed as such. I dont "do" skin care, so I would be pretty upset if I got a box that was 3/4 creams and oils.

I will say, while an eye shadow palette would be better, and more inclusive, that palette technically CAN be used for eyeshadow. Especially as a base for other colors to be put on top. But, I agree, it’s better to stick with something that’s inclusive if there aren’t any customizations

That's my plan for some of the lighter colours - they make a perfect base shade for my eyeshadow to go over. Also I really liked that they had a translucent and a banana powder as well.

The color enhancer is meant to lock in your hair color and keep it looking fresh compare to regular shampoo that would strip your hair color n' it's color brightance. You are meant to use the color enhancer at least once a week or every two weeks depending on your dyed hair color you have..

Shade is a medium pink Estate lip gloss that some people got. Some also got the Revolution blusher in Beloved, a pale pink peachy color. I never get sick of Advent Calendar unboxing videos. I'm not the only who thinks that.
