I use this gel with Uncle Funky’s Daughter underneath and topped off with I Creat Hold. Love it. I had no flakes, but I’m not heavy handed. It only takes a little of the I Create Hold. My hair was moisturized and lasted all week.

This is one of my favorite gels. I love the whole line by TGIN I would suggest coating the hair with Mielle Organics Honey Leave in conditioner first , Pantene hydrating oil then I'll then use this gel..I never have flakes and my 4 A curls loves it. Works very well on my hair. ✌️

I thank and salute you for taking this L so that I knew to put a leave in under this gel 😂 I used Camille Rose Aloe Butter Gel as my leave in conditioner because I saw that I needed deep moisture with this. The hold is definitely STRONG but the curls are not dry.

I love Tgin products, but usually wait until they go on sale.🤣 Their leave-in is super moisturizing, so maybe it would work better with this gel. I also use the honey curls custard & daily moisturizer for braid/twist-outs.

I’m just like you with a preference for thick creamy leave ins and the tgin one kinda on the thin side tho. But it definitely makes my thick hair soft, I just can’t use it on its own

Their CPR protein treatment is definitely one of my faves! It's not as intense as aphogee of course which is why i like it but i definitely noticed a difference in the elasticity of my curls. good to use 1 - 2 times a month for sure

@@Jazzerbean I would use the wash and go line she created or the original line with the big poppa gel. For the gel and the wash n go line, it states don’t use a leave in and of course use water when your styling and then I let dry. I do air drying most of the time . That’s like the only brand I trust to not use a leave for. All other brands I just check to see if the gel and the leave are compatible
