Hi!! How you doing? I was just wondering, what you do to tie your hair up at night after your wash and go?? Do you leave it out or do you twist it up or do you braid it up before you go to bed at night to keep the curls??

Thanks for posting the following video... I have to admit I was stuck on hair type for so long especially when I made the decision to go natural about 1yr and 6 months ago. I've tried to do a wash n' go (recently) and the results haven't been what I was expecting. Lord, during the transitioning stage my hair styles were not up to par... hell there were days when I didn't even want to go to work (amen) because I wasn't happy with my hair. I know now looking back that it was a learning curve and I needed to be patient... now that I'm over the "ugly stage" as I call it with my hair, I am taking more risks and opportunities. I was researching products etc etc etc looking for what worked well with my hair, and during this process I realized I needed to pay attention to my hair porosity rather than hair type. I believe I'm in the middle and that I'm low/medium porosity. Pardon the long comment, thanks again for posting.

It’s funny because I was hoping my curls was was like Bianca Renee... and they are not... but for the LONGEST time I could not figure out a damn wash and go. I couldn’t figure out how people be having a wash and go last for days, now I get it. Your technique and gel are every thing! Another thing I think really helps is ‘training’ your hair. If you are straightening your hair on a regular basis, it messes with the hair routine or your hairs memory to do what you want it to do. Like sending yo kid to they daddy house and you get them back and they act like they don’t know bedtime is 9 o’clock! Ok! Stick with it. If it don’t turn out go back to your trusty and predictable twist out,lol

I’ve tried different hair porosity tests and they always come out with different results; so I kinda just play Russian roulette and hope the product I get works, I know so far that olive oil is really good on my hair and coconut oil and Argan oil ain’t wit it. Any tips?

Do you have to apply the leave in and gel each night, kind of like the LOC method?
