I'm back! 1944 P38 holster repair

I had to take some time off KZbin, thanks for the concern to those that inquired, all is as good as it can be. In this video I'm re-stitching the top on this P38 Holster.

I always like doing these repairs, every one is different. I've done holsters as old as 1916 to present day and there are so many things to learn.

Just started the video and haven’t had the pleasure to watch all your other videos but how would you go about fixing a holster with the metal loop. One side of mine is broken of and it just rotates lol

I'd have to see it, may just need to be peened or set again. If it's like the P-38 there are 4 pins that hold it in place, could make new pins and re-set it, maybe just replace it. you could email me a picture at [e-mail] then I could say better.

Also you asked what we’d like to see. I have a cz 27 holster that’s dry and the stitching needs re done so maybe a rehydrating/conditioning of the leather would be awesome

That'd be cool, I'd certainly give you credit for them. The about page on my channel has email addresses that you can use, make sure you give permission for their use and that they can be shared on my channel, KZbin changes the rules so much I gotta make sure to cover my bases.
