24:24 Don't apologize. You did nothing requiring an apology. We've all been thru that. The only way to improve is to play people better than yourself. It's all part of developing your game.

Good for you Josh! You finally played relaxed! I agree with you that a player tightens up when the opponent breaks and runs and next thing you know you're down a few games. When this happens to try to remember you're a great player and are doing nothing wrong, the other player is just shooting better. Just continue to play your game and hope a roll turns it around for you.

@@Amateur_Pool thanks played in the world qualifiers for apa 8 ball got my team through the first two rounds with sudden death wins lost the third match to a 6 in sudden death

3:04 Shoot the 6 to leave a cut angle on the 4 which will give you natural angle to get behind the 8 and shoot it up the rail. I'd rather take a long shot up the rail where I can see the pocket vs a bank. But hey, when you bank well, you bank!

My TAP league is mostly SL4 and under so I get it when it comes to playing matches against lower players. Good thing for the handicap system to give them a fighting chance. Besides, the Skill Levels in TAP are different than APA. TAP seems to be harder to advance up.

14:30 Yo, Timmeh! You had such a wide landing area for the cueball. You could afford to go forward and come off the side rail for great shapeS on the 2. Let go of your feelings, Luke. Use the rails. The rails are your friends.

Excellent stroking Josh. Big mistake at 16:30 in rack 3 vs skill level 3 who still has 6 balls on the table, hit the bank on the 8 ball very easy so if you miss, it is makeable in the corner pocket.
@antoniog98146 ай бұрын
4:02 Whatup, Timmeh-rama-lama-ding-dong, were you able to cheat the pocket and come between the stripes (maybe use the top tail) to play the 8 in the lower left?
@Amateur_Pool6 ай бұрын
No way i could have avoided those other stripes to get that position
@procrastinator69026 ай бұрын
It always feels good to get out of the slump but I also know what you mean about feeling bad for a lower skill level player when you just kinda steamroll them. We've all been there at some point, and some people will just give up altogether when they keep getting hit with loss after loss. We don't want feel like we're part of the reason someone gives up the game. Hopefully he will get better but for now, Ryan does indeed play like a 3. Fundamentals are lacking a good bit and he doesn't really have any sense of cue ball or speed control. If he sticks with it I'm sure he'll get there.
